The Major, if he is one, is clearly just frustrated with teh level of public support and the coverage by the media that the war in Iraq has gotten. Contrary to an earlier poster I know many Marines who support the war or at the very least support finishing it properly. The real question comes down to a very simple one, what happens if we leave Iraq today?

It’s refreshing to see comments by a few that actually get to the heart of the matter and what is really going on. We have been hijacked by zionists. From our government to our media to our colleges. Three times in the past 14 months, Israeli diplomats have been caught south of our border trying to smuggle explosives, yet our media says nothing. Its just like all the Israeli’s caught after 9-11. Fox was the only one reporting on it and it was scrubbed from their site a few weeks later.

I think it is wise to do as someone recommended above. Educate yourself about all the zionist false flags. Lybia, USS Liberty, Entebbe, USS Estonia, the ISraeli Embasssy’s in Paris, Argentina, and Brazil, Pan Am 103, Jonathon Pollard, Mark Rich, etc.

First, I’m going to assume that the Major is as he claims he is, its a common courtesy I give to people who’ve earned my respect. All soldiers earned that respect, because they’ve signed up to die for my rights.

That said, cut the Major some slack. First off, people are going to disagree with each other, its one of the benefits of living in the US. Second, agree or not, the man’s life is on the line, and I’m willing to bet when you live like that for long enough, you’ll start to get a little short with people whom you believe don’t respect the sacrifices you’ve made for them.

To the Major, I don’t agree with your view, and I don’t agree with how you’ve chosen to display it to us. On the other hand, I wish you nothing more than a speedy delivery away from the hostilities and a long, happy life wherever and however you choose to live it. Good luck to you and those who report to you. Until this war ends, I’ll be part of the chorus of voices who tell others how YOU, sir, are being mistreated by those above you in the chain of command.

Since McCaffery listed his address, maybe each of us ought to paste all the comments made in his behalf into return emails so he can read for himself just how arrogantly stupid he comes across. I don’t know if he’s actually a Marine officer, or not. I happen to be a retired one myself (including combat tours during the good old Vietnam days), and during my 23 years in that capacity I’ve run into more than a few who were just as “gung-ho” brainwashed as he seems to be. His kind of overt bellicosity might well be indicative of deepseated insecurity. An inferiority complex. Or perhaps he just got reality mixed up with John Wayne movies as a child. And his apparent illiteracy! He didn’t even puncuate y’all correctly.

In truth, you’ve been had. The alleged Marine emailer is really Jammaster MC Ffreacy (with a hard c). He specializes in performances in Third World countries that we first invade and whose peoples we soften up with a little bombing and slaughter. That way they’re too terrified to toss him out.

His best known song, to use the term loosely, is titled “Put Your Lips Behind the Military” from the album “We’re the Best, Kill the Rest.” It just went iron in sales and might reach aluminum if he can reach the newly displaced Iraqi refugees.

I just discovered this forum today – and have found the comments made here and commentary given both interesting and insightful on many fronts. One that I find lacking is a deeper understanding in exactly what this “War on Terror” to be about. One thing that I have found missing in many of the comment (and retorts for or against them) is a mention of the jihad which can substantially be credited as the true issue at hand. I did serve in the military, but that in not of consequence here. And I was born and raised in Texas, and have not lived in the Middle East, which is why I do not claim the personally be an expert on matters there. Instead – I challenge any who read this to listen to the words of a true expert. Dr. Walid Phares is a man of amazing insight into what is really going on in the Middle East, and has been for generations. He can be counted as an expert in that he is originally from Lebanon, grew up there, was schooled at the University of Beirut (before going on to earn degrees from other Universities) and has been called in to educate the forums of committees of the State, Justice, Defense and Homeland Security Departments, the US Congress, the European Parliament, the United Nations Security Council – and is also a regular guest on just about every network around – NBC, Fox News, ABC, CBS, PBS,BBC, Al Hurra TV, France 24, Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya News programs. I’ve included a couple of links below to talks he gave on what he holds to be the truth behind the situation at hand. As a combat veteran myself, I volunteer to read and explain USMC Major General Smedley Butler’s classic,”War is a Racket” to the major.

I doubt the fool could read it or understand it himself.

As a side note, I make it a point to ask everyone I see with a USMC tatoo or other indication of “serving” about their opinion of Bush’s War. I have not yet had anyone say anything positive about it.
