That said, cut the Major some slack. First off, people are going to disagree with each other, its one of the benefits of living in the US. Second, agree or not, the man’s life is on the line, and I’m willing to bet when you live like that for long enough, you’ll start to get a little short with people whom you believe don’t respect the sacrifices you’ve made for them.

To the Major, I don’t agree with your view, and I don’t agree with how you’ve chosen to display it to us. On the other hand, I wish you nothing more than a speedy delivery away from the hostilities and a long, happy life wherever and however you choose to live it.
