This bellicose statement came a day after Ecuador’s president announced his refusal to renew the lease of an air base to US forces. And to add insult to injury, he mentioned that the Pentagon could continue stationing troops at the base on the sole condition that Ecuador be allowed to erect a military base in Miami.
As a result, if you didn’t know it was from The Onion, this would arguably complete the hat trick: Serbia Deploys Peacekeeping Forces To U.S.

Now - US should understand that their course of action - i.e. supporting the anti-Russian sentiment in countries in the natural area of Russia’s geopolitical intrests is a double edged sword. Old British Empire used that approach with great care in relation to Russian Empire. But the US, having lost the contact with reality.
Now - an interesting piece of first hand information - back in the days of USSR they were trying to bring as much US dollars into the country as they could - for example the Soviet employees of international organizations had to return most money they were paid abroad to the USSR Govt.
I have just found that at this time there are no limitations on doing a bank wire outside of Russia - you want to send 1 million dollars out - you’re welcome. Not so for wires coming in. There are limitations imposed on US dollars coming in, basically it’s no more then $500/day per person.

Serbia is going to recognize the independence of the new state of Tejas, which is majority Mexican. Tejas was illegally seized and annexed by the US and settled by Anglos in the 1840s. Mexicans were expropriated and their culture was destroyed by the ethnic cleansing of the well-armed American imperialists. who espoused an ultra-nationalist policy of Greater America, called Manifest Destiny, which saw all of North America being annexed and taken over by the white Anglo-American racists and imperialists. Serbia supports the freedom and right to self-determination of the Mexican majority of Tejas and supports their Hispanic culture and language which was destroyed by the Anglo imperialist settlers and ethnic cleansers.
Serbia recognizes the independence and freedom of Tejas because it was criminally and illegally seized by force by the US as an imperialist possession. Serbia wants to prevent genocide in Tejas. The Tejars should receive freedom. The “international community” supports the freedom and independence of Tejas. Democracy and freedom necessitate the independence of Tejas.
Serbia will recognize the independence of Tejas and will open a Serbian Embassy in San Antonio, the new capital of the new country. Diplomatic relations between Serbia and Tejas have already been established.
Serbian leaders plan to visit Tejas and to congratulate the Tejars on their independence and freedom. Serbia supported the struggle of the Tejas Liberation Movement (TLA) to achieve freedom and independence from the US hegemon and US Empire. Tejas was an exploited colony of Washington. Serbia had backed the TLA freedom fighters.
Serbia recognizes the independence of Tejas and welcomes it as the newest member of the family of nations.

IRAQ ‘S POST-SADDAM FEATURE AHLAAM TO BE RELEASED IN CINEMAS ACROSS THE UK FROM 2ND NOVEMBER 2007.
AHLAAM (Dream, Mohamed Al-Daradji, UK/Iraq/Netherlands, 2006)
Based on true stories, Ahlaam takes us on an incredible journey, following two psychiatric patients, who escape from their mental institution in Baghdad, and a young doctor on the night US forces start their ’shock and awe’ campaign to “liberate” Iraq from Saddam Hussein’s totalitarian regime.
Ahlaam is Iraq’s second post-Saddam feature to hit the big screen. Al-Daradji’s debut feature was filmed under highly unstable conditions, with cast and crew encountering not only all kinds of technical restrictions, but being exposed to shooting, abductions, torture and imprisonment, both by insurgents and the American forces.
After attending over 75 festivals around the world and winning many respected awards, the film was selected for consideration for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards 2007 and screened to an attentive audience at the BAFTA .
For security reasons, Al-Daradji had been unable to screen the film in Baghdad. His dream to show it to his own people came true last April, with a screening at the National Theatre to over one thousand people, including cast and crew, members of Iraq’s beleaguered artistic community and government officials. They braved fears of terror attacks to attend and midway through the showing, a rumour that a minibus with explosives had been parked nearby swept the theatre. Luckily it was a false alarm. On the day of the screening, over 200 people were killed in Baghdad by insurgent attacks.
Ahlaam will be screened in much safer circumstances in the UK starting from Friday 2 November at the ICA London when a special Q&A will be held. Film is being released through Human Film and will tour around the country.
