The folks over at Israel National Radio disagree with Daniel Levy about the role the US should play. They favor Ron Paul's noninterventionist stance: http://msmedia.a7.org:82/arutz7/shows/yh/struggle071119.mp3

I agree with both the assertions and conclusions of hardtruth, and Bill Federkiel, both made above. In the future, I doubt if there will be any but Protestant presidents for the rest of my lifetime.

A Christian at a rally in Lebanon years ago said that the U.S. doesn't care who killed Rafik Harriri...( Our govt. doesn't even care who really killed JFK which increasingly appears to have been a joint CIA-Mossad operation..) All the Americans really care about is getting rid of the Shia militia ( which forced the Israelis to leave Lebanon ) because all the Americans really care about is Israel...He's right...Except he left out war-profiteering, the quest for the "privatization" of Iraqi oil and making sure oil continues to be traded for dollars and not Euros...That's all..
( the above is true..JFK earned the hatred of the Zionists for one reason-he was working to keep Israel fm becoming a nuclear power..JFK had also been advised by Gen MacArthur to keep the US out of Vietnam and the conversation made and impression on him...and he wanted to reform the "Federal" Reserve...so this Catholic couldn't be trusted-as they suspected-and he had to go...) The CIA groomed the patsy and the Mossad-Myer Lansky mob provided the guns..Read Michael Collins Piper's Final Judgement on this

Levy's assertion that total US disengagement from Mid East would be less effective than an informed reengagement along positive lines is true but irrelevant. The latter ain't gonna happen. US does not do "responsible" or even "competant" and saying that it would be better if it did is whistling in the wind. When a bull is lumbering round in a china shop the the thing is to get the bull out, not try to teach it to mend ceramics.
