2 things
1) my wife is latin american and she is against ILLEGAL immigration. Quit the racist crap. I lived in Tucson for many years and many Mexican-AMericans I knew were against illegal immigration as well.
2) Huckabee lists Frank Gaffney as one of his advisors

The problem I have with those against "illegal immigration" is that there is no practical legal immigration pathway, especially for Mexicans. The USA allows 226,000 legal immigrants in each year and no more than 7% can come from any one country. This means that roughly 15,000 Mexicans can legally immigrate each year under the present law. Taking the 12 million illegals figure, how exactly can a Mexican legally immigrate here? If one is going to state that "they have nothing against immigration per se, only illegal immigration" make sure you understand how restrictive our present law is.

Serves Il Duce right. However, he's planning past New Hampshire and betting on Super Tuesday. I won't count him out until he drops out.

But wait--has Huckabee *peaked*? Remember, Iowa was only a caucus, and there's many primaries yet to come...

I saw that on the news! Then he had the gall to deny he even knew about the writers' strike! Britney may be insane, but this combination of malice and dumbth takes the cake. I'd vote for Britney before I'd vote for Huckabush!

No. Even worse, he'll probably hire Britney's evil stage mother, Lynne Spears, who drove Britney insane in the first place. Once Huckabush hires her, she can drive *everybody* crazy, especially those "enemy combatant" people who get in the way of stealing "our" oil in America's Middle Eastern colonies!

Wait a minute -- isn't the nefarious Mrs. Spears *Hillary's* Secretary of State?

The problem is that when you make laws (other than the border control) against the illegal immigrants it can become a problem for every brown skinned person -- even a citizen. No one will ask for papers from a white Scandinavian (who may be here illegally) but such will not be the case with brown skinned people. If regular police is given a sweeping power for search or verification of illegal immigrants the life for brown people will become quite miserable. I do not know what is Dr Paul's stand on this but I think he should reconsider if he supports such high-handed measures.

some people seem to be blind to the word 'illegal' in the phrase 'illegal immigrant'. he has nothing against hispanics, he has nothing against immigration, only 'illegal immigration'. is it racist to oppose criminal activity? if so, would it be fair to say that hispanics support criminal activity? no, i suppose that would be a racist thing to say. so we should say that hispanics are as law abiding as other honest americans and that hispanics oppose illegal immigration. those who do, also support ron paul.

I'm confused. Is Temoc a Mexican? Or is he American? He doesn't say. My guess is he that he's an American-born citizen of America. He has passable English. Hey, Temoc, learn the difference! An immigrant enters a given nation seeking help, wishing to join that nation. An illegal immigrant is someone wishing to sponge (or rape, rob, pillage, etc.) off a given nation with no intention of joining that nation in citizenship. If you want to be a citizen of America, Mexican or otherwise, go through the proper channels. I'll have you over for coffee and you can sleep in comfort like family. Immigration makes a nation strong. Rampant illegal immigration is a sign of national weakness. Ron Paul is for legal immigration. My guess is that he's delivered Mexican babies, for Chrissake!
