It is like a bomber, but it uses Cannons/guns instead of bombs and missiles to direct cannon fire against targets on the ground from high altitudes. It is cheaper than using Tomahawks and JDAM/Paveway/JSOW bombs to vaporize villagers. Now if the Somalis were to get some decent Manpads(Portable Surface to Air missiles) from Eritrea or Egypt it would likely level out the playing field a bit. You know the double standards are just too obvious. The US accuses the Sudanese government of using aircraft in attacking Darfur villages, yet the US has no problem with using aircraft to attack villages across the planet. He is the 4th generation soldier in this family and no we dont do it for the glory or the praise... We do it for the love of our great nation and the pride we hold for it! I am well aware of all the ignorance in this world, as is my son. But as he always says, " I dont fight the enemy in front of me...I fight for the people who stand behind me". And i think those words are by far priceless. And you are right... Freedom is NOT free! It was bought and paid for by the blood sweat and tears of our fallen brothers and sisters.
