The Comments section on the Kosovo article seemed like an Inquisition convention for leading the new Crusades against Serbia. Some of those people are crazy.

The recent hosannahs to the recently-late WFB have cooled my enthusiasm for Taki's site.

Yeah, there is a bit of that. Not that much though. It is NOT Free Republic that's for sure. I am no fan of Islam and I don't consider that 'unhealthy'; quite the opposite. I just don't 'blame' Muslims.

I am always impressed by Raimondo--Taki not at all.

Piatek's article on "Fascism" was not a bad summary of some aspects, but missed all the essentials.

In contemporary terms, by the way, Mussolini, who founded the program, was not much of a Fascist. Had he been able to resist the carrot of Austria, dangled by Hitler, and, like Franco, not allied with the Nazis, he may have been in power another two decades, who knows?

Without reading Luigi Barzini or watching Fellini's Roma over and over, any examination of the Italian variety is naive.

A good or bad thing? If that is the level of analysis, might as well just consult 1066 And All That, and have done with it.

Franco and Pinochet were, admittedly, the more efficient and rational of the exportable varieties.

"Communist-Fascist", by the way, is a sensible term, since the Chinese Communists practice a virtual form of "nationalism" and also own all or a majority share of the corporations, including the foreign ones.

Taki and many of the folks over there have an unhealthy hatred for Islam. It seems completely beneath Raimondo to be associated with that site.

The story you are referring to about Frau Catherine is almost certainly a fraud, unless the horse was in her bath.
