Golly gee whiz, Tim, first you list all the evil things Israel has done, then you list all the evil things some Arabs think in their minds. Which is worse, do you think? Besides, given the fantastically irrational American reaction to 9/11, which was to kill Arabs everywhere guilty or not (and it turns out not guilty, as in Iraq), who are we to lecture anyone on appropriate responses?

By the way, Norman Finkelstein beats the living hell out of the myths you list above.

In order to respond to the Israeli Hasbara campaign I am urging all antiwar.com members and readers to setup an account on propellor.com and to join my group called PalestineTruth. You can then post articles on the Palestinian Conflict and then prop them. If we prop the article we can get an important story that hasn’t been heard about onto to the mainstream website aol.com so others can learn more.

I admit the following:

I admit that Israel has instituted an illegal and immoral blockade of Gaza. And I admit that they have treated the Palestinians in a cruel and inhuman way. I admit that Israel should treat the Palestinian people with more compassion, kindness, and fairness. I admit that Israel should do a heck of a lot more to minimize the deaths of innocent civilians.

However, when will anyone on this site also admit some things. When will you admit that a substantial number of Arabs would like to see Israel totally destroyed? When will you admit that groups like HAMAS and Hezbollah are totally and utterly dedicated to seeing Israel wiped off the map and creating a radical Islamic theocracy in the region? When will you admit the the firing of thousands of rockets, indiscriminatly at civilian targets is a violation of international law?

When will you admit that any human rights abuses by Israel ( inexcusable and reprehensible as they are) pale in comparison to the total disregard for basic civil and human rights in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, Jordan, the Hamas controlled territories and many other Arab nations?

When will you admit that Israel gained control of the West Bank and Gaza after an act of war by Egypt–a naval blockade–and many other beligerent moves such as Nasser kicking out UN Peacekeepers, massing his troops on Israels border and publically saying that he was about to destroy Israel. Also, when will you admit that the West Bank was taken over in self-defense after an act of war by Jordan ( Jordan signed a military pact with Egypt in May 1967 and at Nasser’s request began shelling Israeli positions shortly after hostilities broke out.

This, of course, is only one half of this story.

There may or may not be doubts as to the truth of the information which is in fact published by the Jerusalem Post.

What can be documented ABSOLUTELY, however–that is, beyond ALL doubt–is that the Jerusalem Post does NOT allow to be publicized the Truth about the Doctrine of the “resurrection”; specifically, that it is a Doctrine similar to the Buddhist Doctrine of ‘Rebirth’.

There is NO doubt about this WHATSOEVER.

I don’t get it at all

Hamas is the Gov’t of Gaza. They run the social services. The aid was intended for Gaza.
Hamas got the aid. There seems to be no scandal there even if it were true

What’s so funny is that in the Jpost article it talks about how the Israeli gov’t is stealing aid intended for the people of Gaza.
