Obvious,
I agree that “Our failing economy could bring on hunger, more homeless people, more sickness and riots”. But, after a short period of chaos and an every-man-for-himself atmosphere, it will more likely result in massive collectivization (socialism). In any case, libertarian economics is about to become as popular as syphilis. If anyone is hoping to sell their Milton Freidman and Ayn Rand libraries on E-BAY, I wouldn’t wait too long. (collector plates of Ronald Reagen won’t be bringing much, either)

I, too, am miffed at some things Antiwar has not reported, or under-reported, regarding the Jewish lobby.

A balanced, well-documented, factual letter of mine was turned down 3 years ago.

The letter pointed out that several – not all – groups in the Jewish lobby, such as the Anti-Defamation League, American Jewish Committee, and JINSA have not only been denying the Armenian genocide but have also long worked hand in hand with Turkey to stop Congress from passing an Armenian genocide resolution. This is, of course, major holocaust hypocrisy and chutzpah by those Jewish groups.

In any case, the issue made, and continues to make, international news thanks to Armenian and human rights activists, and principled Jews.

Here is how it happens:

1) when they came for cannabis, cocaine and opium users – I did not care, since I’m not a user
2) when they wiped out Dresden – …
3) when they nuked Japan – ….
4) when they were killing people in Vietnam – …
5) when they declared “War on drugs” – …
6) when they bombed Yugoslavia – ….
7) WHEN THEY DEMOLISHED THE WTC – is was too late

at that point I decided that the US project did not work out… and decided that I don’t want to participate.

Now – one trivial idea for an average American – “Don’t you understand, that if certain Govt. gets the taste of blood, then it does not really care, whose blood it is. And, you know, domestic blood is easier to obtain…”

It’s off subject but I think everyone should get it, well mabey not Tim R.

A man is out walking in New York when he sees a girl being savaged by a fierce dog. He fights off the dog by beating it about the head with a stick and saves the girl’s life.
The girl’s mother rushes over to him: “Thank you, thank you, you are a hero, tomorrow all the newspapers will have headlines about Brave New Yorker Saves the Life of Young Girl”
“But I’m not a New Yorker,” the man says.
“Oh, then it will say in all the newspapers Brave American Saves Life of Young Girl,” says the mother.
“But I’m not an American,” the man says.
“What are you then?” asks the mother.
“I’m an Iranian,” the man says.
The next day he sees the newspaper headlines:

Islamic Extremist Kills American Dog.

The columnists tell us that we’ve won in Iraq and Afghanistan but at the same time we need to keep troops in both places because the house of cards in both places can collapse at any time. The columnists and our pro-war politicians are all “mental”.
