Complete Idiot’s Guide: Giving Motivational Speeches

It is all brilliant. Be sure to catch his monologue at around the 2:30 mark. Sounds like he is inviting the troops to the US. Warning: Very strong language.

What a truly insipred motivational speaker. If I was one of these men I would grab my pistol and some water and march right on down and kill some of my fellow people. Yah sure right, what an F ing tool. He must believe that these guys are as dumb and brainwashed as his own men. These are the idiots that Obama want’s to leave behind. I’m sure that will work out just great. I have always said bring our troops home and all of them from everywhere. Now I’m not so sure, maybe we should leave a few idiots like this joker. Just make sure to take his weapons first, I wouldn’t want him to seem like a coward. After all wouldn’t he be a bigger hero if he could fight the good fight with a little water, no trucks, air support, or anything but his bare hands?
Seriously though, bring them all home before it’s too late. We don’t need to make anymore enemies or anymore sick jokers like this guy.

Having watched the video again, I noticed a few other things I would like to point out. First off I was in the military and there are always a few morons who believe that humiliation and degredation equals motivation. I have never noticed it to work well but it sometimes has an affect if the soldiers really believe they messed up and really wanted to get it right. It’s sort of the Chef Ramsey approach.
Looking at the reaction of these men to this tyraid shows a few simple facts. First they have no respect for this man (and why should they), second he doesn’t have a clue how things actually work and they know it. He clearly lacks any true authority over these men as well.

I am very very old school but whenever I see someone speak and the F-word is every other word indicates to me that they:
Are stupid
Hostile
Have a small vocabulary
Are rude
Sociopathic
In need of counseling
I am so tired of retards like this, representing our government and our people. This was not a motivational speech unless it was to motivate the group to quit. There is absolutely no reason why a sane person should speak like this to anyone.

This clearly shows the true ugly American who shows extreme contemepet towards the people who he claims to hvae come to help.He exhipit total disregards and disrespect. He is totaly arrogant, foul mouthed, incompentent .He blames the people for his being there as if they invited hem to invade their country, and begged him to save them, which typical of all the US wars against helpless population. It always ,that we came to save you,to help you,to free you ,etc, etc. He was stocking the fires of sectarine conflicts when he tells them that he would not help them when teh sunnies come to kill them!,look up the Salvador option. It has been almost six years now since’the Iraqis!’invited the the US to invade their country ,and he still has not learend to speak the language of the people he supposdly helping!
He is not an isolated case or just ‘one bad apple’,there so many examples of this and it is an official policy to humilate and treat the Iraqis with complete contempet from day one.

Brad Smith (above) got it absolutely right! We were subjected to “morons who believe that humiliation and degradation equals motivation” in boot camp before going to ‘Nam! That abuse, not only did not motivate me, but turned me against the military and the whole racist, imperial adventure! It seems that even 42 years later and the end of the draft, these morons have neither learned anything nor changed their tactics; the abuses have not changed either: accusations of treason and disloyalty, “Misogyny” – calling men “pussies and women,” cowardice – “no backbone,” lethargy – “sitting around with your thumb up your ass,” appeals to “machismo” – “be a man, kick some ass,” threats of violence toward the recruits, not to mention the numerous “f-bombs” and calls to “shut the f-up!” Such abuse would never be tolerated in civilian society and would be the origin of many “discrimination in the workplace” and “hostile work environment” lawsuits! Lloyd (above) asked “I wonder if any of these Iraqis want to frag this Idiot?” My answer to his question would be “in a New York minute!”

This is just appalling. There are two main points I get from this:
(1) This guy is obviously not afraid to be heard by the other US soldiers present, so he obviously doesn’t care what they think, or what they may say later about his behavior to anyone else. Clearly he feels that this behavior will be acceptable to the rest of his fellow soldiers. So we can see that the evil of the American occupation of Iraq resides not just at the policy level, among the think-tank neocons and Israel lobbyists who dreamed it up, but also in the soldiers on the ground who carry out the policy. The degeneracy is at all levels.
(2) A point of lesser importance, but still worth noting: he repeatedly uses “woman” as an insult – again, with a total sense of impunity. This is a totally OK way to talk in the US military in 2009. You know, we can allow thugs like this to serve in our military, or we can have women serving in our military — but we cannot have both.

If this Officer treats his own men from his own unit the same way then I just wonder what would happen if his unit has to assault some IRGC bunkers in Iran like those of Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon if the US attacks Iran? He will be lucky if he is not shot in the back(well at least in the legs) and his unit does not surrender. He is not boosting morale with this speech. And probably had a fatwa declared against him afterwards.
What is more disturbing are the Fascist minded comments on Youtube from people who think this kind of insulting behavior is “cool”.

It is interesting how superfluous are the “celebrations” of “Mother’s Day” ; “Valentines Day” (if directed to women” – in the USA.
I read recently the story about establishing the International Women’s Day.
Is is tomorrow, March 8. Every year, since 1909.
All the reasons for which the Women’s Day was established – still exists.
But the Day is unknown in America, from where it took it’s roots.
http://www.internationalwomensday.com/about.asp
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Women’s_Day
What happened since US invaded Iraq – that the rights and conditions of
the women there _deteriorated_. Such a “progress”, pressed by the soldiers like those
who “motivate”. Motivate certainly the Taliban, to cut womens rights completely
in Afghanistan.
Klara Zetkin or Alexandra Kollontai were right, at the beginning of the XX-century.
Maybe Ms. Hillary Clinton will start teaching the members of Armed Forces some _respect_
for women, if Ms. Rice were unable to do so for not being quite fully qualified, except of the famous “look” when visiting the bases in Iraq?
George
Bill K.
March 7th, 2009 at 7:00 pm
It’s actually quite simple. International Women’s Day is not celebrated for the same reason May 1st in the US is just another day and Labor day is in the the fall, even though both had their origins in the US. These are “communist” holidays, from the US Government point of view. And when your Government supports a Society controlled by Corporations and Banks “communist” holidays receive ZERO attention. I mean how will the Corporations milk you for money by celebrating Women’s and Worker’s rights? Mother’s day is just another “Consumer” holiday, just like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and the consumer variant of Easter. Corporations measure their profits based on how much Americans “consume” on these days. As long as you don’t remember that the Corporations used to work people to death everything will be “fine”.
It would be kind of hard to have a May Day where people have to go to the store and buy stuff. “Red flags 20% off! Have your picture taken with Karl Marx!”

Of course women have the right to work and kill themselves for everyone but their husband and children. Heaven forbid they find fullfillment in being a nurturing mother and wife. Of course I believe that women can and are great workers. But being a feminist shouldn’t mean rejecting the possibility of motherhood and being a devoted wife. The two most important roles in society are Mother and Father. Telling women that it’s more important to have a job any job even if it’s flipping burgers at Wendy’s is not the answer. Someone should take care of the children as their primary caretaker. It doesn’t have to be the women it can be the man, however the current Feminism makes it out as if any women who chooses to stay home is somehow anti-feminist and anti-American. Children should be our main focus, if it’s not going to be don’t have children. If you both intend to spend your entire life, time, and devotion to your work, do us a favor and don’t breed. It’s far more responsible to not bring children into this world than to leave them alone (or in daycare) to fend for themselves.

No doubt, I would want to take him out. However, most of us in the US are not good with empathy. Notice how we use the term American, like we are the only Americans. Untill I had traveled I had no idea that the rest of the Americas also consider themselves to be American. For example they call us Norte Americanas, in South America. Wherever you live in the Americas your an American, only here in the US do we use the term exclusively. I try and use the short form US. But I also forget once in a while.

He views “woman” as degenarte and low form of life ,and this from a country and people that lecture others about the importance of treating women with dignity. He clearly shows how much progress the US itself made in that regard. This another example of “Do as we tell you ,not as we do”attitude. Many women in the US supported and continue the support the wars in Iraq,Afghnistan, and other to come on the ground that the women these countries would librated no matter if the women in those countries wanted be librated or not nor bothered were bothered by what these wars might bring to the whole people of those countries.

Before US soliders laeve for Iraq or Afghnistan ,thet are thought to despise and hate and the 9/11 drilled into their brains that they can’t see the wrongs of their own actions any more. They are thought that they are there to avenge 9/11.

“One mother of two from Montana told me she signed up because of
9/11. Dozens of others told us the same thing. One young soldier showed me
his metal bracelet engraved with the name of a victim he never knew and that
awful date none of us will ever forget.
In fact at every encounter with the troops a surge of reservists –
firefighters and cops including many who had worked the rubble of Ground
Zero — came to exchange a hometown hug. Their glassy eyes still do not
allow anyone to penetrate too far inside to the place where their trauma is
lodged; the trauma of a devastation far greater than anyone who hadn’t been
there could even imagine. It’s there in me, too. I had forced my way
downtown on that awful morning, convinced that I could find Neil beneath the
rubble.
What I was not prepared for was to have soldiers show us the World Trade
Center memorabilia they’d carried with them into the streets of Baghdad.
Others had clearly been holding in stories of personal 9/11 tragedies which
had made them enlist.”

In the early morning hours of October 20, 2008, Pfc. Timothy Alderman took his own life in his barracks at Fort Carson, Colo. He died of an apparent prescription drug overdose.
The 21-year-old had been stationed in the Iraqi city of Ramadi. Before his long deployment to the Middle East, he had never suffered from any mental health problems. In fact, according to his medical records, he didn’t think he would have difficulty returning home because he “mostly had fun killing people and getting paid for it.”

Oliver Stone, 9/11, and the Big Lie
“You might say, “But everyone knows it was al-Qaeda.” And you’d be right, but do most Americans really know just who those terrorists were or that they had no connection to Iraq — that not a single one of them even came from that country? It doesn’t sound very important until you realize that various polls over the last five years have reported from 20% to 50% of Americans still believe Iraqis were on those planes. (They were not.) As of early 2005, according to a Harris poll, 47% of Americans were convinced that Saddam Hussein actually helped plan the attack and supported the hijackers. And in February, 2006, according to a unique Zogby poll of American troops serving in Iraq, “85% said the U.S. mission is mainly ‘to retaliate for Saddam’s role in the 9-11 attacks’; 77% said they also believe the main or a major reason for the war was ‘to stop Saddam from protecting al Qaeda in Iraq.’”

Coming to grips with the fact that one can become an animal is one of the hardest parts of serving in combat. If you haven’t been in actuall combat where the stress goes on day after day, I wouldn’t expect you too understand, but I’ll try. You just get to the point where you want to kill them all so you can go home. Your brain kind of goes into a hyperactive overdrive, your senses become sharper your fight or flight response gets overstimulated. It’s not untill you get back and realize that your no longer like the people you left behind at home that the “high” wears off. Your still looking around corners afraid to be around crouds etc. It’s also normal to want to go back, at least while your in combat you feel “normal” again, when you get home you feel anything but normal. This is what WE do to the people WE send out to fight.
You shouldn’t blame the soldier for having the only sain psychologic reaction that a hunted animal can have. Of course it’s also normal for any vets to want to justify their actions and the more wrong you are the more you will attempt to justify. When you can no longer justify you can go one of two ways. Either blame those who sent you or blame yourself. Accepting responsibilty for taking part in murder isn’t something that is easily done, hence the many suicides. It took me years to accept what I had done and I still spend time blaming those who sent me and myslef. But I no longer justify what I did. War is wrong both taking part in it and sending out the troops. I would also say that the American people who allow this to happen should take their share of the blame.
Much of the anti-war work that I do, from marching, to blogging to working on anti-recruitment comes from an attempt to atone for my actions. I also don’t want to add the extra guilt of not trying to stop the next war or sending out the next young person who blindly does as his society tells him to. Society sends these people out to war and then convienyently blames them for becoming the animals they need to be to survive.
So for the joes out there, Stop blaming youself but learn to accept the responsibility of your actions. For the anit-war crowd keep working and maybe you will still be able to sleep at night. For the rest of the US wake up and join anti-war movements and bring our sons and daughters home.
Peace!

“and kill themselves for everyone but their husband and children”
“Heaven forbid they find fullfillment in being a nurturing mother and wife”
“But being a feminist shouldn’t mean rejecting the possibility of motherhood and being a devoted wife”
Where did I say something like this? This internationally recognized holiday is not meant to glorify Feminism as you believe Brad. In fact if you talked to people who know about this holiday it is a day of appreciating Women not Feminism. It is a day to show respect and love towards one’s mother, wife, girlfriend, sister(s), and daughter(s).
Brad Smith
March 8th, 2009 at 7:35 pm
I wasn’t so much commenting on your comment but on the holiday and what it’s become. I know what the holiday is supposed to celebrate, but it’s been co-opted by feminist. Femisist in general do not put families first and will take any chance they can get to put down women who do. I see my wife who has been a stay at home mom for over 20 years given grief by them constantly. I’m sure some of this is out a guilt but much of this behaviour is from indoctrination. I also don’t see communism as freedom for women. Just the opposite, for women to be free they should have freedom to choose which path is right for them. Check out the link I posted and you will see what I am refering to.
Sorry if I offended you, that wasn’t my intent.
Peace!
Bill K.
March 8th, 2009 at 8:05 pm
Brad
This is not something that offends me, since I don’t really care about Feminism(in case my name tag does make it clear enough I am not a woman).
But, I was pointing out why this holiday is not celebrated within the territory of the United States. At the same time. Communism is the reason(perhaps indirectly) most people no longer have to work and live in dangerous conditions. Corporations were forced to adopt more humane conditions to prevent a revolt from the Working class. Nobody wants to work in a coal mine(for example) for 16 hours a day that has no safety mechanisms where deaths are common.
Also I believe women should be able to choose whether they want to work or stay at home.
Andy
March 8th, 2009 at 8:19 pm
Don’t be too hard on yourself Brad. You were undoubtedly a lot younger then, lacking in the wisdom, outlook and life experience you now have. The military does everything it can to brainwash and indoctrinate its people too. Americans are fed almost from birth a steady diet of rubbish that they so easily absorb. There are lots of other countries that are every bit as free as America is (perhaps more so, without a history of slavery and segregation, and free to travel to Cuba, smoke marijuana etc) but don’t have to make a big deal out of it, brainwashing their citizens and keeping bases all around the world.

For some of you Viet Vets, if we had talked like this a-hole to the Yards or Hmungs or even the hamlet forces would we of ever been comfortable in the field with them during a firefight.
I seen US REMFs or cherry lt’s talking to locals like this and even regular ARVN’s and while we all miss the 55,000+ of our buddies calling the ARVN pussys etc when they lost over 2,000,000 men as we had hundreds of thousands of our own sitting in brothels or flat ass jobs easier than in stateside for the lifer brigades, is pure machismo BS.
It is these police forces who are dying in large numbers every day and they are following US orders against their own people,
Ya the almost bullet proof loud mouth who is fighting a largely unarmed, ill equippped force is todays mighty warrior, backed by the best armaments in world and protective armor; while he addresses police forces with half assed Polish and old soviet surplus junk Ak’s , bullet proof vest that might, just might stop a 9/mm, crappy head gear, Toyota pickups and is going to have to fight his cousin or brother in law, will in all likelihood be real motivated so that this a-hole can make 5 times the policemans annual salary per month.
This is the kind of guy you placed on point to save the rest of the platoon.
We are winning the hearts and minds of the folks back home, and telling tyhe Iraquis’ that when the die or kill it is for their country, even if it is occupied by US the invaders without cause.

Your right that the major holidays in the US have just become another excuse for profit making (whats wrong with making money?). As for communism’s benifits I’m not so sure. The Marxist Soviet regime and the Nazi Socialists only differed in who they thought it was proper to exterminate. The Nazis went by race and the Marxist by class, but between the two of them they murders 10’s of millions. That’s a pretty high price to pay for better working conditions. Capitalism won out in the US and our working conditions are still much better than Russia. The threat of Communism and the works of Socialists like Upton Sinclair’s THE JUNGLE did have a positive affect in changing opinions. However if the Communists had taken over the US it would not have turned out so well. The Socialist have taken over much of the US now and I think it’s going to be the end of our once great nation. I don’t oppose the founding of Communist and Socialist parties that run and take part in the elections at least then we know their true adjenda (not that I would vote for them). However, it does bother me that the Socialist run as Democrats and the Fascist run as Republicans. We now have Socialist/Fascist Republicrats running the show.

Well said, Brad. I think the real reason that the State would frown upon your attempt to become a Veterans Counselor is that you might actually succeed in saving the minds and lives of your clients and teaching more than a few of them about liberty and peace in the process. That’s THE LAST THING the State wants. As far as that monster is concerned, the more war-spawned sociopaths roaming the streets of the U.S., particularly in State costumes, the better. All the more potent a weapon with which to keep us liberty-loving serfs under control.
