Instead, Bush and Cheney practically came and campaigned for Joe. And finally, being the incumbant, he tried to paint the possible downside to CT of someone in Chairmanship positions - all the good he could do for us (yeah, that turned out just great) As a result, he maintained 30% of the DEM vote, got 66% of the R vote and about 40 % of independents. Frankly, in my view CT is not that BLUE a state. We have the GOLD Coast new NYC which, except for the large cities, is almost all RED. Then the area around Waterbury is RED.
