26 House Dems Voice ‘Deep Concern’ Over Biden Claim That Israel Is Legally Using US Arms

More than two dozen House Democrats on Tuesday challenged the Biden administration’s claim that Israel is using U.S.-supplied weapons in compliance with domestic and international law—an assertion made amid an ongoing World Court probe of “plausibly” genocidal Israeli policies and practices in Gaza.

Citing “mounting credible and deeply troubling reports and allegations” of human rights crimes committed by Israeli troops in Gaza and soldiers and settlers in the occupied West Bank, 26 congressional Democrats led by Texas Reps. Veronica Escobar—who co-chairs President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign—and Joaquin Castro asked U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines “whether and how” their agencies determined Israel is lawfully using arms provided by Washington.

New Hampshire GOP Adds ‘Defend the Guard’ to Party Platform

With a resounding “Aye,” Defend the Guard was made an official part of the New Hampshire Republican Party platform.

On Saturday, April 13, the New Hampshire GOP held a meeting to vote on platform amendments. Among the list of proposals was the following text:

“Demand that Congress exercise their sole authority over war declarations and protect the New Hampshire National Guard by requiring a Congressional declaration of war prior to any National Guardsman deployment to overseas combat zones.”

Red Alert! Congress Goes ‘Full Stasi’ With New Spying Power!

On today’s Ron Paul Liberty Report:

Buried deep in the FISA Section 702 re-authorization bill is absolutely shocking language exponentially broadening the US government’s ability to spy on Americans without a warrant. Turning your plumber into a federal spy agent against you? It’s in there! Your gardener? Yep. Truly shocking! Also today: The US Government has submitted its “assurances” to the UK regarding the Assange extradition plan. It’s not good.

Germany Buries the Evidence of Complicity in Genocide: Nicaragua Exposes It

Last Thursday, Dr Ghassan Abu-Sittah, the British-Palestinian war surgeon, gave his first address as the newly-appointed rector of Glasgow University, chosen in recognition of his work at al-Shifa hospital in Gaza. The following day he flew to Berlin, where he had been invited to address a major conference about Palestine. On arrival he was taken away by police, interrogated for several hours and eventually told he had to leave Germany and wouldn’t be allowed to return until at least the end of April. Any attempt to speak to the conference via Zoom could result in a fine or even a year’s prison sentence. By the time he was released he couldn’t have taken part in the conference anyway, since it had been already invaded by at least 900 police and closed down. Berlin’s mayor said that it was ‘intolerable’ that the conference was taking place at all.

Speaking about his experience afterwards, Dr Abu-Sittah referred to the fact that Germany had – also last week – been defending itself at the International Court of Justice against charges by Nicaragua that it is an accomplice to genocidal war. ‘This is exactly what accomplices to a crime do’ he said. ‘They bury the evidence and they silence or harass or intimidate the witnesses’.

Speaker Johnson Rolls Out MASSIVE Foreign Spending Bills

On today’s Ron Paul Liberty Report:

The revolt against House Speaker Mike Johnson is picking up steam, as Johnson revealed plans to take several MASSIVE foreign spending bills to the floor this week. Tying foreign aid to protecting the borders at home – once a staple in Johnson’s rhetoric – has been tossed aside. Rep. Thomas Massie announced he would co-sponsor a bill to vacate the Chair – an ouster of Johnson.
