US 'Human Shields' Bus Was Not Bombed
April 2, 2003

Voices in the Wilderness has denied news reports that a bus load of "human shields" was attacked by US missiles. Yesterday, Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf told a news conference the bus was attacked on its way to Jordan with 20 "human shields" aboard. He said the injured were being treated in a hospital near the Jordanian border.

Jeff Guntzel of Voices in the Wilderness said all the reports were false, and that the entire team is safe and headed for Amman. Richard Scrase of Human Shield Action confirms that there have been no such reports among their teams.
