We've got an
empire to build
Jay Taylor
avers :
...American-led
military operations in Afghanistan are now doing more harm
than good.
He
implores the US to leave the area; a job well done left
behind. Unfortunately, he forgets though, we have a few
unfinished jobs to complete... a pipeline, an empire,
de-Muslimification...
RUN! GI Joe doll has a two-inch plastic
gun
Boy, I feel safe now. No worries about flying
on airplanes now that all
those GI Joe dolls have been disarmed of their small replica,
bendable and fake guns. I propose, in response to
such a wonderful display of protection of public safety, a
100% increase in the US airport securities' budget. Job well
done!
Who needs facts? Not I!
Simon
Tisdall suggests that "credible reasons" are required
before the US and UK storm into foreign nations and bring
their peaceful bombing. I don't know what he is talking
about, I know of ample evidence....
Here,
here,
here
...
here and here.
Yelling "Terrorism" in a crowded theater...
tends to undermine what little faith people have
left in the efficacy and good intentions of their
government. Michael
Mayo describes an all-too common occurrence: American
Arabs detained without proper evidence and hearings. Hassoun,
currently imprisoned under Ashcroft law, explains the
situation perfectly:
"I believe I am a scapegoat."
Ariel Sharon Bush?
Who
said politics wasn't interesting? Now we have the
leader of the Israeli government, Ariel Sharon, scheudled
to make an appearance at a Miami "solidarity rally"
that just happens to coincide with Jeb Bush's political
campaign. I am sensing that
the billions in aid, especially the recent allocation,
is being "repaid," solidarity-style.
Pretty ... scary pictures
War requires bombs, airbases, soldiers, munitions
and a small country that can be pressured to let the US
military in: Qatar. It appears the military is well prepared
to bomb Iraq (see
pictures), I mean Saddam.
