"Empire, War, and the Greater Good" by Anthony Gregory

On June 7, 2008, Anthony Gregory delivered the following speech, "Empire, War, and the Greater Good," to the second Future of Freedom Foundation conference, "Restoring the Republic," held in Reston, Virginia.

Anthony Gregory works as a research analyst at The Independent Institute in Oakland, CA, assisting Ivan Eland with historical research and studying the effects of the war on terror on civil liberties at home. He is a Policy Advisor for the Future of Freedom Foundation, a blogger at Liberty and Power and the Stress Blog, and a contributing writer to such publications as Freedom Daily, the Northwest Meridian, and LewRockwell.com. His writing has been translated into numerous languages and has appeared in the San Diego Union Tribune, the Contra Costa Times and other mainstream newspapers, as well as on such web sites as Antiwar.com.
