Posted June 24, 2002 Handgun [Regarding Justin Raimondo's column, "Punditry in the Age of Terrorism":] I live down in Texas where we are still allowed to carry a nice big concealed 45 mm handgun and use it in defensive situations. If you do not have one, I would suggest you purchase one and learn how to use it properly as should every American citizen. Unfortunately, due to our nature, we receive back what we put out and you put out alot of negative (all reasonable and I assume true) stuff that does need to be said. Because of this, you are going to be threatened and you'd better learn to protect yourself because the world is becoming less civilized everyday. People no longer have beliefs and values and thus do not value life, including yours. Please, please, please, don't ever call on the federal government for help as you did in your last article even if it was a joke. First, they won't help you because they are idiots and cannot protect anything or one and second you are very critical (rightly so) of them most of the time. You can't have it both ways! Let me know if can ever help. I think we need more of what you have to say in this country. Expose the Nexus In the context of Justin's latest article pointing to the 'friendship' emerging between the Hindutvadi fascists and the Zionists, here is an important fact: please pass it on to him: Domain name info from WHOIS: on any unix system type: whois hinduunity.org you will get: Domain Name:
HINDUUNITY.ORG The same
for kahane.org: Domain Name:
KAHANE.ORG You will notice that the the Name Server for both resolves toi an 'IL' address, which is Israel. Now if you take the two entries under Name Server (NS1.YESHUA.CC and NS2.GWSYSTEMS.CO.IL) and run this search on any UNIX system: host NS1.YESHUA.CC host NS2.GWSYSTEMS.CO.IL Both Hinduunity.org and Kahane.org are on the same machine (!) located in Israel whose name servers have the exact same ip addresses, 66.95.228.194 and 66.95.228.195. This happened because the Kahane folks helped the Hinduunity folks (in 2001) once they were closed down for hate speech and issuing death threats (as Justin notes in his article). It was reported on New York Times last year. This symbolizes the connection between these two anti-American and pro-fascist organizations. It is high time their nexus is exposed. Kudos to Justin for doing just that. Black
Eye At Buckeye Internationalists [Regarding Kevin Carson's letter of June 17:] The real divide these days is between internationalists, both right and left, and those who see virtue in the traditional nation state. Lefties, true lefties, are almost always internationalists. They see common cause with mankind, with international institutions, with world labor, etc. I would have absolutely no quarrel with a socialist who believes that each canton in some region decides for itself regarding its taste for socialism, and is willing to suspend its natural inclination to bring the benefits of its brilliant ideas to its neighbors far and near. You might as well look for a square circle. Leftists just can't bring themselves to mind their own damn business, on a local or international stage. They are a pseudo-religion of the sword, not of peace. There are lots of capitalist internationalists too, and they are an equally poisonous bunch. They don't see the United states as a lifeboat in a sea of third world labor, and arrayed against other foreign alliances which see it as a trade enemy. They see themselves as stockholders on the stage of international money. Some neocons see the US as the prototype of a United States of the World. Original socialism seemed to fail them, so they climbed aboard this new mount of international capitalism. They get to work the levers of world power just the same, and most of their messianic vision remains intact. "Libertarian leftist" is a contradiction in terms. The left is most often a sort of pseudo religion, which has its own moral framework of "economic justice", "civil rights" , "sexual freedom", state sponsored scientific naturalism in biomedical ethics issues, an environmentalism which is basically a sort of pagan pantheism. They get to decide this new pantheon of "rights", not only for themselves, but they arrogate to themselves the right to decide for the world. They can't let other people alone. They are a proselytizing faith, who can't abide their neighbor who has a competing vision of a way to live. They are not the only proselytizing faith out there, but they are certainly one of them. There are points at which the Nation State idea tramples on local rights, that's for sure. It's been corrupted, that's for sure. There is still a place for it, albeit much reduced in its scope. Many libertarians are world people too. Some see each individual as an atom against any authority, even local. I am willing to find a community whose community standards agree with mine. Many libertarians will appeal to some Federal law to crush a local community's sovereignty (e.g. Roe v Wade). Let's stick with the founding fathers' profound distrust of any unit of government much greater than a county or city, and delegate only those powers necessary to make sure we are not the victim of external tyranny, and let's hope the tyranny does not come from our own government grown out of control like a cancer, or from internationalists from the right or the left. Support As an Iranian Jew exiled from Iran, I read with amusement ... [Ran HaCohen's] recent article about "How Jews can Support Israel." It seems
amazing to me that Muslims can live in Israel, vote for whom they want,
run for government, marry, practice their religion etc. but it seems that
Jews for some reason are not allowed to live in any Arab country. Why
should Muslims live in The settler question is a red herring. Jews were killed and forcibly converted in the Muslim world long before there was an independent state of Israel. Jews were killed long before Israel took the west bank from Jordan or Gaza from Egypt. Jews were killed by Muslims long before the settler movement started. ... Perhaps an article on how Muslims can support themselves would be more appropriate. They should abandon their view that Dar-Islam must be all conquering; that the Dhimi or the humiliated Jews have no rights under Islam; that just because Mohammed killed all the Jews of Arabia in 600 AD doesn't mean that the Muslims get to do that the Jews of Israel, the West Bank or elsewhere. Only once they acknowledge that, can there be peace. Inside or Outside ...If only Americans could see themselves as the rest of the world sees them. "Empire" is great, if you're a part of it; but if not, you see the foreign troops on your territory, the military bases spread here and there, often full of loud, arrogant, bullying young soldiers. You see your government bowing to trade or economic pressure from the empire, or having to kowtow to the IMF or World Bank, which dole out cash at the empire's whim -- or withhold it. If you have a job, you may be working for the empire in some way -- caring for imperial tourists, or producing low-cost goods for the empire in some sweatshop. You're thankful for the job, but it's not a very good one, and if the empire figures it can get a better deal elsewhere, your job may depart real quick. So your outlook on the empire depends on whether you're inside looking out or outside looking in. From the outside looking in, you may admire the imperial lifestyle, but you can also see the corruption and the hypocrisy a lot clearer than those inside! And that corruption and hypocrisy -- along with the Lord's judgments -- will eventually bring the empire to naught, just as it has every other empire throughout history that exalted itself ... and forgot or ignored God and the poor and needy. Genius After reading several of Brendan O'Neill's articles, I can't help but think he has genius as a covert supporter of Israel and its tactics. I applaud, however, your coverage of all sides -- including Brendan's. ~ M. McCormick |
