Ron Paul on Sen. Jeff Sessions: Libertarian or Authoritarian?

Tuesday the Senate Judiciary Committee takes up Donald Trump’s nomination of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) to be his Attorney General. Sessions is billed as a “Constitutional conservative” but how is his record on civil liberties? The drug war? Whistleblowers? We hold a pre-hearing hearing in today’s Ron Paul Liberty Report:

‘Constitutional’ ‘conservatives’ have done plenty to shred the Bill of Rights. Sessions will be a typical republican.

Freedom and Liberty are so often used in propaganda it’s a “cast a wide net” or “Big Tent” magnet. You say liberty in your name you’ll get plenty of fish but some are foul. (bad pun action there) There will be a lot of people (mostly guys) who deeply admire and believe about freedom, but don’t see out of one eye, all their focus is on THEIR liberties and rights and everybody else can suck hind teat.

And since it’s use is so very ubiquitous in Mass Marketing to sell all kinds of products including Ideas and Ideals, it can be and has been used to justify slavery and conquest. Like the twin concepts Noble and Nobility. It’s a Class thing but a lot of people wouldn’t understand. Same with Chivalry. It’s all kinds of courtesy and respect… For The Cavaliers, the ones who were wealthy enough to own horses. Freedom and Equality but only for their class. It always involves dealing one to one on an individual basis, differentiation I mean. Spot the crook. Not easy. but shifty people betray themselves in the effort to hide. Sometimes really quickly, they might as well have Thief and Liar tattooed in their foreheads.

Key words to listen for are any kind of slurs to make other people less than people. All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.

Well said Brother Jonah. And yes, they’re easy to spot because they all invariably and eventually come out with one of those slurs. Sometimes only by omission on not taking the high road. Or sometimes guilt by association with those who are easy to confirm as thieves and liars.

Sessions? Hmph! Who are his friends?

      luv from Canada.
