I wonder what <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cpa-iraq.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Neocon Central<\/a> will have to say about that?  Let&#8217;s see what <a href=\"http:\/\/billmon.org\/archives\/000111.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bureaucrat Man <\/a>has in mind:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cpa-iraq.org\/regulations\/20040425_CPAORD_77_Board_of_Supreme_Audit.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">A Board of Supreme Audit<\/a>\u2014also appointed by Bremer\u2014will have representatives in every Iraqi ministry, with powers to monitor all contracts and expenditure. The US-installed members of the board will have a five-year term of office and cannot be removed except by a two-thirds vote in an elected Iraqi parliament\u2014when one exists. US \u201cadvisors\u201d will remain in every ministry, reporting to a virtual parallel government operating out of the American embassy in Baghdad, which, with over 3,000 staff, will be the largest in the world.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That darn pesky &#8220;sovereignty&#8221; thing.
