It wasn\u2019t long before the viceroy\u2019s office (OHR) issued a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ohr.int\/ohr-dept\/presso\/pressr\/default.asp?content_id=34993\">statement<\/a> insinuating that the RS police staged the whole thing to disrupt the commemoration. (!)<\/p>\n<p>Compare this to the reactions to bomb attacks in Kosovo on Saturday night, which targeted the UN and Serbs. The bombings \u2013 latest in a series \u2013 bore all the trademarks of the KLA. But both Albanian leaders and Imperial officials have been hard at work to deflect the blame. Albanians <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adnki.com\/index_2Level.php?cat=Security&#038;loid=8.0.183317369&#038;par=0\">immediately claimed<\/a> the bombs were \u201cattacks on the democratic process\u201d aimed to \u201cdestabilize Kosovo\u201d (meaning, the Albanian separatist cause) \u2013 blaming the Serbs, in not so many words. US envoy Philip Goldberg, offered <a href=\"http:\/\/www.balkanpeace.org\/hed\/archive\/jul05\/hed7081.shtml\">this<\/a> meaningless assessment: \u201cNeither people of Kosovo nor the international community will allow acts of terrorism to divert us from the important work ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Viceroy Jessen-Petersen gave himself away when he <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adnki.com\/index_2Level.php?cat=Security&#038;loid=8.0.183317369&#038;par=0\">said<\/a> he was sure the bombings \u201cdo not have the support of the people of Kosovo.\u201d Now, the \u201cpeople of Kosovo\u201d is a synonym for Albanians.
