The man carrying the sign became violent when he was asked to put it down.<\/p>\n<p>Ken Robinson, of Richardson, Texas, who described himself as aVietnam veteran, was carrying a sign at a \u201cYou Don&#8217;t Speak for Me, Cindy!\u201d rally. The sign read, \u201cHow to wreck your family in 30 days by \u2018b**** in the ditch&#8217; Cindy Sheehan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kristinn Taylor, an event organizer with FreeRepublic.com, heard about the sign and rushed up to Robinson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is our rally and you can&#8217;t do that here,\u201d he said, only for Robinson to insist he was within his rights.<\/p>\n<p>Camera crews rushed in and Taylor turned to face them.<a href=\"http:\/\/ancapistan.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/bitch_in_ditch_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/ancapistan.typepad.com\/unfairwitness\/images\/bitch_in_ditch_1.jpg\" title=\"Bitch_in_ditch_1\" alt=\"Bitch_in_ditch_1\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px; float: left;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ancapistan.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/bitch_in_ditch.jpg\"><br \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo all the media here, this sign is not representative of the crowd<br \/>\nhere today,\u201d Taylor announced. Some of the crowd around Robinson came<br \/>\nforward to shake his hand, while others chanted, \u201cIdiot, go home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The two men then squared off and raised their voices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust get outta here!\u201d Robinson yelled, and aimed a kick at Taylor&#8217;s midsection. Taylor called for security, and a young Woodway policeman<br \/>\nquickly showed up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have the right to freedom of speech,\u201d Robinson said.<\/p>\n<p>Robinson continued to protest loudly as police handcuffed him and led him away.\n<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The only way <a href=\"http:\/\/talkleft.com\/new_archives\/012023.html\">the sign<\/a> wouldn&#8217;t be &quot;<span class=\"template\"><span class=\"body\">\u201crepresentative of the crowd here today,\u201d is if there weren&#8217;t any Freepers there, because as you can see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=%22bitch+in+the+ditch%22+site%3Afreerepublic.com&amp;sourceid=mozilla-search&amp;start=0&amp;start=0&amp;ie=utf-8&amp;oe=utf-8&amp;client=firefox-a&amp;rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official\">here <\/a>and<a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?hs=3qQ&amp;hl=en&amp;lr=&amp;safe=off&amp;c2coff=1&amp;client=firefox-a&amp;rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&amp;q=%22ditch+bitch%22+site%3Afreerepublic.com&amp;btnG=Search\"> here,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crooksandliars.com\/2005\/08\/27.html#a4660\">the sign <\/a>is highly representative of Freeper attitudes and rhetoric, more shame to all of them.&nbsp; The Free Republic website is monitored, highly censored and demands conformity of ideology so if posts calling Cindy Sheehan &quot;The bitch in the ditch&quot; or &quot;Ditch Bitch&quot; were unwelcome, they&#8217;d be out of there.&nbsp; They&#8217;re displayed in all their vicious glory still.<\/p>\n<p>Were there Freepers in Crawford this weekend?&nbsp; Well, who else would be stupid enough to attack their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freerepublic.com\/focus\/f-news\/1471900\/posts?page=2189#2189\">fellow<\/a> pro-war Republicans?&nbsp; Apparently, some reading-challenged Freepers were enraged at some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.protestwarrior.com\/\">Protest Warrior<\/a> signs that were sufficiently complex for the message to go right over their heads, so they did what comes naturally to them &#8211; they <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freerepublic.com\/focus\/f-news\/1471900\/posts?page=2855#2855\">eliminated them.<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/ancapistan.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/freepsvspw.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/ancapistan.typepad.com\/unfairwitness\/images\/freepsvspw.JPG\" title=\"Freepsvspw\" alt=\"Freepsvspw\" style=\"margin: 0px 0px 5px 5px; float: right;\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"postbody\"><a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/wireStory?id=1073887&amp;CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312\">AP reports:<\/a> At the pro-Bush rally several miles away, there<br \/>\nwere some heated moments when two members of Protest Warrior, a group<br \/>\nthat frequently holds counter protests to anti-war rallies, walked in<br \/>\nwith a sign that read &quot;Say No to War Unless a Democrat is President.&quot; <\/span><br \/><span class=\"postbody\">&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span class=\"postbody\"><br \/>\nMany Bush supporters only saw the top of the sign and believed the men<br \/>\nwere war protesters, so they began shouting and chasing the pair out.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/ancapistan.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/humblegunner.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"132\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/ancapistan.typepad.com\/unfairwitness\/images\/humblegunner.jpg\" title=\"Humblegunner\" alt=\"Humblegunner\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px; float: left;\" \/><\/a>One man tore up their signs. When Will Marean of Minneapolis kept<br \/>\nrepeating that he was on the Bush side and tried to explain Protest<br \/>\nWarrior&#8217;s mission, one Bush supporter shook his hand and apologized. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A Freeper who was there <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freerepublic.com\/focus\/f-news\/1471900\/posts?page=2273#2273\">posted<\/a>, &quot;Even the &quot;victim&quot; admitted that he could see how the misunderstanding could happen.
