Lindsey Graham (R &#8211; SC) also <a href=\"http:\/\/news.antiwar.com\/2016\/04\/19\/sen-graham-blocks-911-lawsuit-bill-amid-saudi-threats\/\">briefly blocked<\/a> the bill, though the Senate did <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-saudi-usa-congress-idUSKCN0Y8239\">eventually <\/a>pass the bill in mid-May.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In July, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence finally <a href=\"http:\/\/news.antiwar.com\/2016\/07\/15\/28-pages-reveal-evidence-of-saudi-govt-involvement-in-911\/\">released the notorious &#8220;28 pages&#8221;<\/a> from the 9\/11 Report, which detailed Saudi government involvement in the attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Increased evidence of official Saudi support for the 9\/11 plot has added momentum to the bill, though a veto threat is still believed to be intact, part of the Obama Administration&#8217;s substantial support for the Saudi kingdom, and fear of Saudi retaliation.<\/p>\n<p>Those interested in contacting their representative to express support for the legislation can find <a href=\"http:\/\/www.house.gov\/representatives\/find\/\">contact information here<\/a>.
