His books have been translated into Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, and Korean. He is a contributing editor for the <em>American Conservative <\/em>and a frequent contributor to <em>Freedom Daily<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>War Street Journal<\/em> called Bovard \u00e2\u20ac\u0153the roving inspector general of the modern state,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and <em>Washington Post <\/em>columnist George Will called him a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153one-man truth squad.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d His 1994 book L<em>ost Rights: The Destruction of American Liberty<\/em> received the Free Press Association\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Mencken Award as Book of the Year. His <em>Terrorism and Tyranny<\/em> won the Lysander Spooner Award for the Best Book on Liberty in 2003.
