The billionaire hedge fund titan began <\/em><\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnsnews.com\/ViewNation.asp?Page=\\Nation\\archive\\200407\\NAT20040727a.html\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" color=\"#0033cc\" size=\"3\"><em>supporting Obama<\/em><\/font><\/a><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\"><em> very early\u00c2\u00a0&#8212; as befits a legendary <\/em><\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2006\/12\/05\/us\/politics\/05obama.html?ei=5088partner=rssnyt&#038;en=545c54cd2290ec59&#038;ex=1322974800&#038;adxnnl=1&#038;emc=rss&#038;pagewanted=print&#038;adxnnlx=1200143482-b5i2eSRcwWpJUZ4Z5Cidrw\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" color=\"#0033cc\" size=\"3\"><em>speculative investor<\/em><\/font><\/a><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\"><em> always looking for <\/em><\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com\/2007\/01\/27\/george-soros-backs-obama-but-hedges-his-bets\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" color=\"#0033cc\" size=\"3\"><em>opportunities<\/em><\/font><\/a><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\"><em>.&#8221;<\/em><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\">The irony is that this classic anti-Semitic trope &#8212; the\u00c2\u00a0predatory Jewish speculator always on the prowl &#8212; comes in the midst of a screed that claims Obama is in bed with &#8230; anti-Semites. This is either waaaay too clever, or just plain dumb, like <em>The American Thinker<\/em> itself. After all, what kind of a name is that?
