Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wsj.com\/law\/2007\/06\/20\/justice-scalia-hearts-jack-bauer\/\"><strong>told an assembly<\/strong><\/a> of judges in the summer of 2007: &#8220;\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Jack Bauer saved Los Angeles . . . . He saved hundreds of thousands of lives&#8230; Are you going to convict Jack Bauer?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d <\/p>\n<p>I would wager that many congressmen also rely on &#8217;24&#8217; as their primary info source on torture. <\/p>\n<p>This is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jimbovard.com\/Attention%20Deficit%20Democracy%20page.htm\"><strong>Attention Deficit Democracy <\/strong><\/a>at its best. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three Cheers for Doonesbury today!
