I think he has lost his mind. He claims that he is tired of all the deployments.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not buying it. I told him he should man up and stop acting like a scared little boy.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Incredibly, it goes on like that for quite awhile, including suggesting that they could &#8220;maybe even take a vacation&#8221; with the re-enlistment bonus. Perhaps the real kicker was this:<br \/>\n<em><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve learned to cope with deployments, and he has, too. There&#8217;s nothing to it. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;advice&#8221; for what has to be one of the worst requests for advice ever is priceless too&#8230; she recommends that the wife join up and let the husband be the military spouse for awhile. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Normally I&#8217;m not a reader of those advice columns in newspapers, but this one caught my eye on the basis of the title alone.
