But if Iran acquires nuclear weapons, Brookes predicts Tehran will increase support for Hamas and Hezbollah, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153further roiling the region\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s security situation, especially for arch-nemesis Israel.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Brookes concludes, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Unless Tehran changes course, or is compelled to abandon its nuclear program, the Middle East may be bound for a destabilizing explosion of nuclear weapons-capable states and more dangerous times ahead.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052748703493504576007383529969542.html\">The Wall Street Journal<\/a><\/em>: Michael Auslin, director of Japan studies at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rightweb.irc-online.org\/profile\/American_Enterprise_Institute\">American Enterprise Institute<\/a>, examines the implications of Turkey\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s growing relationship with China and asks, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Could Mr. Erdogan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ties to Iran somehow facilitate future North Korean-Iranian missile and possibly nuclear cooperation, even as Turkey begins to have its own civilian nuclear power plants built?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Auslin suggests that Western policy analysts should examine the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153possible scenarios of greater Sino-Turkish ties and play out the ramifications of an enhanced anti-Western network of states.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Auslin calls for Turkey to return back to its \u00e2\u20ac\u0153old and trusted partners\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and warns that if Ankara continues to ally itself with \u00e2\u20ac\u0153authoritarian regimes, such as China, Syria, and Iran then Turkey will quickly find itself isolated from the liberal West.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/opinion\/2010\/12\/09\/iran-continues-march-new-world-order-end\/\">FoxNews.com<\/a><\/em>: Reza Kahlili, a former CIA spy in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard writing under a pseudonym for  hawkish media, attempts to build on the <a href=\"http:\/\/ipsnews.net\/news.asp?idnews=53720\">discredited assertion<\/a> that the WikiLeaks cables offer evidence of North Korean and Iranian collusion on nuclear technology. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The radicals in Iran are very close to successfully weaponizing their missiles with nuclear warheads and have openly talked about a \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcNew World Order\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 where Israel ceases to exist and America will no longer be the superpower that it is today,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d warns Kahlili. He concludes, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153America needs leadership, courage and commitment to our fundamental principles. It is time to side with and the Iranian people. It is time to help Iranians overthrow this regime. If we do, it will go a long way toward winning a peaceful future for the world.
