And
still the War Party wants more
We're $21 trillion
in debt and yet, in spite of that enormous sum looming over
our heads, the politicians in Washington continue to lavish money
we don't have on the military. The Army is now telling Congress
it's not enough.
They say it's
needed for "defense" but who will defend us against
bankruptcy?
The Iraq war
cost $3 trillion. The Afghan war may wind up costing more. How long
can we keep this up?
Not for long.
It's time to
call a halt to this orgy of spending but we can't do that
until and unless we change our foreign policy of perpetual war.
And that's the reason for Antiwar.com. We're fighting for real "national
security" the security of financial common sense. But
we can't do it without your support.

us fight the war profiteers
