Today is the 71st anniversary of the nuclear destruction of Nagasaki: Saturday was the anniversary of the Hiroshima horror We must make sure it doesn't happen again – because it could happen again.

That's because we still haven't learned our lesson. Indeed the conventional wisdom is that these twin war crimes were "necessary" to end World War II – even though Gen. Dwight Eisenhower testified to the contrary.

The US has enough nuclear weapons to end all life on earth. Yet still we refuse to make a "No first strike" pledge. And our arms race with nuclear-armed Russia is escalating.

Help us end this threat to humanity. Help change US foreign policy – make your tax-deductible donation today.

*Donors of $100 or more receive the just-released Murray Rothbard book, Never A Dull Moment: A Libertarian Look at the Sixties, edited by our own Justin Raimondo.
