Unfortunately not true. In my teen years i followed Hagee and looking back it was quite foolish but very understandable given the average persons inability to determine any sort of truth on their own that follows logic.

I think that one has to understand that the unknown Greek speaking authors of the gospels, written some 40-80 years after the death of Jesus of Nazareth, never saw Jesus nor heard him speak a word. They were writing their own defense of the so-called Savior from rumors and stories that had been retold and enhanced for many years and in many langauges. No one can prove even that there is this biblical god or that Jesus was the “son” of that god. People need to be more critical and read and understand just how the bible was written and for what purpose.

When I look at Hagee I’m constantly reminded of my sister who, with cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, traveled all the way to San Antonio to attend some service or rally looking for a miracle.
That was long ago before he acquired his current notoriety, but even then I considered him a loud mouthed blow-hard. How you say things is as important as what you say and I knew from the beginning that while he may “believe” the script he’s quite a bad actor.

I also like to commend Charles for being so respectful with Pastor Hagee as well. I always hate seeing an older, religious figure getting bullied, even when they’re waaay off. And as a side note, someone asked which Christian leader has condemned the war? The Pope, my friend. Pope John Paul II was against it from the beginning and Pope Benedict has continued to preach peace. Just War is an accepted centuries old Christian concept that most follow.

Anyone who says something like “the Bible does not condemn slavery” is either just taking the word of somebody else without actually reading and studying the bible or they are intentionally being deceptive.
The old testament contains numerous admonitions against holding persons in bondage without pay of both hebrews and gentiles and the god character in the Bible punishes entire cities and nations for doing such.
Please be cautious of making universal declarations as truth when it is apparent you have done no significant research.
There are certain laws in the Old Testament that allowed for slavery. Hebrew slaves had to be set free after seven years unless they chose to remain slaves for life.

One of the things that always irks me about these end-times people is their persistence in aligning Russia with the anti-Christian forces.
Russia is a predominantly Christian nation. Granted, it’s a version of Christianity (Orthodoxy) that is largely unfamiliar to these yahoos, but nevertheless it is an ancient and vibrant form of the Christian faith.
Regardless of whether they like his politics or not, Vladimir Putin is a devout Orthodox Christian who regularly attends liturgy, keeps the fasts of the church, and receives communion.

I am also troubled about Hagee’s views of the Constitution when the Constitution says that the President MUST at all times ask Congress for a declaration of war. Even Franklin D.Roosevelt knew this the day after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and knew he was not “the decider” as George W.Bush so arrogantly claims he is.
