A Moveable Saddam

Regarding the editorial "What if Bin Laden Isn't Caught?" [Stratfor Global Intelligence Update, WorldNetDaily, December 12] -- my guess is that he will become like Orwell's Goldstein, a convenient poster-boy for world wide evil and convenient excuse for invading and/or bombing any place our fearless leaders choose. A moveable Saddam.

Persons Unknown

[Regarding Justin Raimondo's column of December 14, "Et Tu Israel?":]

I just read your article with great interest. But there is one fatal flaw with your argument. The Israelis do not have the power to cause the North American Air Defense network to stand down -- which they clearly did on 9/11. A far more plausible scenario would be Israel's complicity with persons unknown within the Bush Cabal.

Elitists

[Regarding Justin Raimondo's column of December 14, "Et Tu Israel?":]

If you think Israel standing by and letting those attacks occur with their prior knowledge will be reported at large and with outrage in our press, you are loony. Even if these facts do come out, nothing will really happen, a la Clinton.

...I get depressed at how stupid and self-referential Americans are. No one in my circle of fairly conservative Catholics can see how sick our foreign policy is, how it seems to be run for big business and elitists who don't really fit into "left" or "right." They are people who have accepted materialism and Darwinism and see themselves as the class that is evolving to a better place. Pride. The devil has them in his grasp and they seem to hate humanity other than themselves. They are willing to carry out some very ugly acts to wipe out the unfit.

Thank you for all your work, Justin.

Lack of Hard Evidence

In regard to Mr. Raimondo's column of December 14 suggesting Israeli culpability in the events of 9-11 -- while I suppose it is the goal of every author to lead the reader, I think in this case the author himself seems not totally convinced of the very idea he is attempting to sell. All though the article their are many inferences but no direct accusations and a total lack of hard evidence to back up his suggestions.

I have very great respect for this particular author, but this is not his best work.

Kahane a 'Fascist'?

[Regarding Justin Raimondo's column of December 14, "Et Tu Israel?":]

What makes Kahane a "fascist"? I heard him directly say the US should not give Israel aid for their domestic socialism. This doesn't sound like a fascist, but maybe I don't have the big picture. He may be a racist and a thug, but capitalists can be thugs, can't they?

Critically Important Issue

[Regarding Justin Raimondo's column of December 14, "Et Tu Israel?":]

This is a critically important issue to be addressed. I hope you will continue to pursue answers to this question. I have contacted both my Congressman and one of my state's U.S. Senator's offices telling them that I want this issue addressed by Congress.

Killing

I'm not a religious scholar or zealot. But it seems to me that killing is no way to solve anything. I wish people around the world could learn this. The Israelis should be reminded of the Ten Commandments received by Moses, in particular, "Thou shalt not kill." The Muslims should be reminded of similar verses in their Quran.
