Compulsive Reading

As a libertarian left-winger I find much to agree with -- and plenty to disagree with -- in [Justin Raimondo's] ... writing.

But I never find it boring.

I've been a regular now since November -- compulsive reading.

I believe that when the story of 9/11 and all is finally told, history will reserve a special place for the role you've played in documenting the stinking rat in the cupboard. Something really smells bad -- but where exactly is that rodent? And what is it? And is there more than one?

The way the Israeli 9/11 possible tie-in has [been] ignored in the mainstream media is remarkable. A real eye-opener for me. There's also something very strange about investigations into anomalous stock dealings which just fizzle into obscurity, an anthrax investigation which can't seem to find its quarry even through the short-list must be shorter than in an Agatha Christie thriller, etc. etc. You keep on these stories -- like a dog with his bone -- and good onya, as we say in Australia.

Unity

To Mr. X I would reply that Russia has joined NATO to fight 'terrorism.' You are watching the NWO be made manifest. As CFR and Trilateralist think-tank shills become ever more prominent on FOX, CNN, MSNBC and all other establishment news sites while spouting the need to unify against terror, the method shall become clear. Read this for a dose of what's ahead: http://www.guardian.co.uk/Archive/Article/0,4273,4388912,00.html In their conventions and policy meetings, the UN regards the control of populations' access to food as "a weapon."

'Unity' will be achieved how? By any means necessary. Why must 'unity' be achieved? To fight terrorism. Who is a terrorist? Anyone who doesn't agree with their definition of 'unity.'

Suicide Bombers

[Regarding Ran HaCohen's column of April 5, "Suicidal Truths":]

Suicide bombers are really the only weapon that the Palestinians have left to fight with and obviously its been very effective! This is the one place the Israeli overlords are vulnerable! And otherwise why would President Bush now be making overtures to Yassar Arafat?

...World leaders have now put tremendous pressure on President Bush to rein in the brutal Israeli army (that is fully funded by the U.S.) and Bush has to acquiesce to that pressure. But he's going about it in a weasely and very dishonest way! Instead of condemning the mass murderer, Ariel Sharon, Bush ... is piling all the blame on the imprisoned Yassar Arafat ... and especially the Palestinian suicide bombers who Arafat doesn't really, and can't really, control!

If George W. Bush really wants to stop the suicide bombers then why doesn't the US militarily arm the Palestinians like it has armed Israel? Why doesn't the US give the Palestinians some helicopter gunships and tanks and F-16 fighter jets like it is supplying brutal Israel with and then the Palestinians will have some real weapons to protect themselves and fight back with! Then they won't need suicide bombers which for now is their only real weapon against the murderous Ariel Sharon and his bullying, cowardly army! Otherwise George W. Bush is not really offering the Palestinians anything but more (US sponsored) destruction and death!

Logical

...This article about suicide bombers is fantastic, and above all logical. Whereas might and greed is irrational and not logical. When human needs such as safety, shelter, cloth, food, medicine, and also education are not met we become insane. Even educated people become saddened for the poor and forsaken. That's why Sept. 11 happened, that's why suicide bombers develop.

It's a wake-up call and a great one. We must respect each and every person and make sure their needs get met.

Figurehead

I had an opportunity to hear alot of bushleague while living in Austin for 10 years. I was involved in mental health, bicycling and police abuse activism (the cops there murder more folk, especially minority or mentally impaired than criminals).

I tend to agree with the tone of the letters posted. Bushleague is an arrogant little sh*t and the only known comparison I can come up with is the old movie Being There with Peter Sellers. Roughly, it is about a total moronic simpleton whose inane utterings are misconstrued by the powers that be as manna from heaven.

The conspiracy against the citizens of Amerika is manufactured by those with the power and wit to do so and bushleague is simply a figurehead.
