You’d Think I Called for Someone to Boil Him Alive

True to form, Max Borders wails that he’s been misunderstood, and that he’s the victim of “mafia” tactics because I included a link to the Institute for Humane Studies at the end of this post. To be clear, I didn’t call for anyone to demand Borders be fired, and I certainly didn’t criticize him over anything personal, private, or otherwise irrelevant. I do think a supposedly libertarian organization should be able to answer for what its employees publicly promote. If I wrote on this blog or any other that boiling people alive is not a moral issue, I’d be sacked in a heartbeat. Hell, every time I miss a typo, someone writes in to demand my removal.

If you can’t stand the heat, Max, you should back away from the bubbling pot. I wash my hands of you.
