The ‘Arsenal of Democracy’ Is Merely an Arsenal

Surprise! The House has approved $95 billion in more weapons and war for Ukraine and Israel, along with a few billion tossed in for Taiwan. Ukraine gets the lion’s share of the aid, roughly $61 billion, while Israel gets roughly $26 billion, which is $12 billion more than the Biden administration initially asked for.
Imagine that! $26 billion for Israel as it slaughters Palestinians in Gaza. America is led by moral monsters and mental midgets.

‘The Law Is Simple’: Israel’s Unregulated Nukes Mean Biden Must Halt Military Aid
The national organization Veterans For Peace is demanding that the Biden Administration abide by US law regarding the illegal possession of unregulated nuclear weapons and halt all military aid to Israel. In a letter to President Biden and top members of his administration, Veterans For Peace asserts that US law requires the cutoff of all military aid to Israel because it possesses nuclear weapons in noncompliance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Israel does not admit it possesses nuclear weapons, has not signed the NPT and does not allow inspections of its nuclear arsenal.
The letter lists multiple credible reports that Israel has possessed nuclear weapons for decades. Because Israel has not signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty (NPT), the Symington-Glenn Amendments to the International Security Assistance and Arms Export Control Act of 1976, which allow no presidential discretion, requires the suspension of all military aid.

Pursuing Saudi-Israeli Normalization Is a Fool’s Errand
The Biden administration still hasn’t given up on its terrible plan for a Saudi-Israeli normalization deal. The Wall Street Journal reports:
The Biden administration is pushing for a long-shot diplomatic deal in coming months that presses Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept a new commitment to Palestinian statehood in exchange for diplomatic recognition by Riyadh, U.S. and Saudi officials said.

Ottawa Doing the Opposite of Peacekeeping
The Canadian government is enabling geopolitical tensions that could lead to World War III. They’ve encouraged Israel’s bid to ignite a regional war, promoted the NATO proxy war in Ukraine, dispatched forces towards China and increased military spending to counter China and Russia.
In innumerable ways the Trudeau government has enabled Israel’s holocaust in Gaza. Ottawa responded to Israel’s slaughter by ramping up arms sales while simultaneously maintaining bilateral military ties and turning a blind eye to Canadians illegally assisting the Israeli military.
