I Have A Question for Rudy Giuliani

I have a question for Rudy Giuliani: Do you or do you not support your senior foreign policy advisor’s demand that we immediately bomb Iran?

Yes or no?

  1. Well, if we do decide to bomb Iran at least we know that we won’t kill any gay people! Didn’t you hear? According to Iranian President Ahmadinijhad, there ARE no homosexuals in Iran. He says that is a problem we have here but there are no gay people in his country. Wow, what a relief to know that !

Oh, I wonder why he says there are no gay people in his country?
Maybe he assumes they have already been executed?

    1. This is why Iranians are embarrassed by their president. However, 98% of what he said today at Columbia was completely reasonable and a significant portion was correct. Our own president doesn’t have that kind of record — almost everything he says is ridiculous bombast.

Unfortunately, this idiotic comment by Ahmadinejad was used in various ways by the press to color the rest of his speech — again, quite reasonable — as kooky. Dingbat Americans, of course, will bite.

  2. Why are so many of the worst, most traiterous pro-Israel fanatics in America neither Jews not even “dispensationalist” Christian fundamentalists? This is such a weird phenomenon. I main, what drives people like Cheney, Giuliani, James Woolsey, etc.? These are not your bible-thumping hayseeds in the boonies of Arkansas who think Israel is the landing pad for the Second Coming. So what the hell is it? I just don’t get it.

  3. it would be one thing if guys like pipes and pdheretz backed guliani, for him to actually employ them is insane. It's like he is trying to lose the election. Doesn't he see bush's poll numbers? does he think it's because of the dubai ports fiasco? It's like if Joe Biden hired marxist economic advisors

  4. To me the bigger question is not about the venality of our politicians, but rather why is the mainstream media so complacent?

I mean look at how Ahmadinejad’s speech is being treated by CNN and the rest of the MSM. Most Americans have no idea that he really said he hopes Israel’s regime will disappear, not be forcibly wiped off the map. The same with his “nuclear weapons” program – how many people do you think know that Iran is in compliance and that no evidence of a weapons program has been found?

I am truly bewildered about this stuff. If you have any doubts check out the archived mp3 interviews of Juan Cole (re: “wiped off the map”) and of Gordon Prather and Scott Ritter (re: their nuclear program).

This stuff isn’t hard to understand, but the basic facts needed to gain this kind of insight are rarely ever presented in the MSM.
