Palin at AIPAC: That Didn’t Take Long

Jim Lobe, September 02, 2008

MSNBC and the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) are reporting that Gov. Palin met this afternoon with the board of directors of the America Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and Sen. Joe Lieberman to, in the words of one McCain campaign official cited by MSNBC, put “the American Jewish community at ease over her understanding of US-Middle East relations.” It’s worth noting that Palin, who has obviously been completely off-limits to reporters since she was rolled out as McCain’s running-mate in Dayton Friday, stiffed a reception in her honor sponsored by none other than Phyllis Schlafly a couple hours later. (One wonders what other lobbies have tried to arrange a meeting with Palin in the last 96 hours and with what success.)

“We had a good productive discussion on the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and we were pleased that Gov. Palin expressed her deep, personal, and lifelong commitment to the safety and well-being of Israel,” AIPAC spokesman Josh Block said after the meeting. “Like Sen. McCain, the vice presidential nominee understands and believes in the special friendship between the two democracies and would work to expand and deepen the strategic partnership in a McCain/Palin Administration.”

“She was extremely well received,” McCain campaign spokesman Michael Goldfarb said, noting that Palin was interrupted by applause twice,” according to the JTA account. He added that Palin spoke about “the relationship between Israel and American national security, and the threats to Israel from Iran and others.”

Evidence of nervousness in the McCain campaign about Palin’s impact on Jewish voters and donors was made clear when the Likudist Republican Jewish Coalition circulated a video of her Alaska office in which it found a small Israeli flag, in the words of Politico, “poking out from behind a drape.”

“I think it speaks volumes that she keeps an Israeli flag on the wall of her office,” RJC’s executive director, Matt Brooks, told Politico in an e-mail. “It clearly shows what’s in her heart.” Politico’s analysis is well worth reading. As I noted Friday, a Nexis search of the two years previous to her selection as McCain’s running-mate failed to find a single published article in which Palin ever mentioned Israel. I suspect it may make it into her acceptance speech Wednesday night.

  1. Good analysis Jim. You must jump through the right hoops to be VP.

  2. Boo Hoo someone didn’t get a meeting with her. Sounds like her plate is very full, but be shelfish and cry that you didn’t get a meeting. Hey if you buy a lottery ticket, you might not win!

  3. I guess the boys at AIPAC have to look her over and make sure she is “okay” and going to bow down to them like everybody else. What other country in the world has to have its elected politicians go through such nonsense?

  4. How do you know that Palin isn’t doing this just to trick the Israel lobby?

  5. You said a mouthful, Andy.

I don’t know whether Palin was all hot and bothered about Israel before Mad Bomber McInsane tapped her for VP. In any case, though, you can be sure that McInsane, “Zionist Joe” LIEberman, and others made sure she got with the program. You know, that Israel controls “American policy” in the Middle East, that Israel gets whatever it wants from America, that Americans should fight and die for Israel, and the like.

Representative Ron Paul is virtually the only one in Washington who hasn’t sold out to the Israel Lobby. Too bad that the DemoPublican Party’s two candidates–McInsane and Saint Barack of Obama–are AIPAC-owned-and-operated.

  6. This private showing was inevitable. Lew Rockwell pointed yesterday to developments along these lines as being likely .

The Likudist ownership of our political institutions is now so out-in-the-open, so absolutely shameless that it begins to display an element of hubris. The name and experience of Jack Abramov emerge into conciousness as perhaps prophetic. At one point a mistake is made and the American people exact a price? Not likely soon enough to keep us out of war with Iran or Russia. But perhaps such a war is the very mistake described, if we survive it.

  7. Well we don’t “know”, but the questions is what is the most reasonable opinion?

    1) That she is tricking the Lobby (in which case, btw, she is insincere deceptive person)

    or

    2) That she is yet another politician submitting to AIPAC?

the weight of the evidence suggests 2). She has no credentials fighting the israeli lobby and in on record supporting the war in iraq.

Basically she is a half-hearted Buchananite…with, like Pat, a tendency towards the establishment. In event, if she is a paleo-con, she’s sold out to be VP.

  8. Well, what are we going to do about this, people? Rant about it uselessly on blogs or show up at the doorstep of AIPAC with guns in hand and ask them to leave the country nicely before things get messy?

What, you have a better idea?

  9. Abraham, your idea’s a bit of a doozy
But you might as well cut the group some slack.
Since everyone there is armed with a Uzi
    Try someone other than Aipac.

  10. Palin had to be cleared by AIPAC? Seems odd, especially considering the fact that the members of AIPAC are traitors to America. How else to describe people who advance the cause of a FOREIGN NATION above the fate of their own country, who promote government action that they KNOW would do great harm to America – such as wrecking the US economy by bombing Iran and doubling the price of fuel – during a supposed ‘time of war’ at that. If these same acts were carried out by some clowns in the pay of Russia, they’d have been arrested long ago.
US foreign policy will never improve until the AIPAC tumor is removed – permanently.

  11. The Israeli press had said many American citizens there were expressing doubts about her, both because of the resounding welcome she got from Christian conservatives and because of a rumor that over a decade ago, someone totally once saw her wearing a Pat Buchanan button.

Sounds ridiculous, but don’t forget all the hoops Obama had to jump through over things like buying his house from a Muslim guy or wearing a headwrap on a visit to Africa.

Its all part of the game, but I don’t think its so much to placate Israel itself as to get candidates to commit to a continuation of the same belligerent foreign policy that has stood our country in such questionable stead for the past half century plus.

  12. Here’s a picture of Palin’s office taken before she “gave birth,” so earlier this year, might be February according to the date on it.

Note the U.S. and her AK state flag, but also the only other flag in Palin’s office is….DRUM ROLL PLEASE… AN ISRAELI FLAG!!!!

So Palin may not be as clueless as first though: even back then she knew what country’s ass to kiss.

  13. A sizable portion of this nation is seething with anger as we watch the Israel lobby control our foreign policy on behalf of a foreign nation, pursuing a course that is ruinous for us. I don’t think the Israel lobby can keep this anger dammed up indefinitely. When the levee breaks, they’ll have hell to pay.

  14. Makes me wonder what the vetting process is for VP. What do the McCain operatives think about as they sit around and toss names out… the VP’s most important job is framing the election. After inauguration, VP can go back into obscurity where he/she came from.

What sort of grilling did AIPAC give Palin? I wonder how anybody handles this. What thoughts must go through one’s mind? “Hmmm, I don’t really give a fig about Israel, but if I tell the truth, I get no access to the money and the media…” What to do? Ron Paul wouldn’t support Israel FIRST, so he got shut out of the media. I would think anyone without Paul’s integrity (in this situation) approaches it in a calculated manner. “In order to get what I want, I have to dance to their tune.” Maybe later you can dance to your own tune, but then again, maybe you can’t.

At the end of the day, the only people who truly care about Israel are the Jews. Ultimately, any support they get from anyone else is shaky and uncertain; it is a house built upon the sand, support gained through fear and manipulation. What a life! I’m glad it’s not mine.

  15. “she keeps an Israeli flag on the wall of her office”

Many churches that activly seeking to bring about the battle of Armageddon disly Israeli flags.

  16. ii t should read display!

  17. I think it’s time to round them up again.

  18. the paleos are in love. they don’t care about any of this stuff.

  19. If Lobe’s final speculation comes true and Palin panders to Israel in her Wednesday speech, the “bloom will be off the rose!”

She has already soured my view of her if she “…stiffed a reception in her honor by Phyllis Schafley” who is the premier female conservative and American patriot.

  20. I think she’s placating everyone because as a running-mate she has to. If and when the time comes, as chief executive, heads are gonna roll. If she gets the chance to follow through on the federal level with what she did in AK, expect Bush and Cheney to be incarcerated for treason.

  21. [...] To throw you lot a bone, see here. [...]

  22. AIPAC has made their bed. A ‘yea’ vote here.

  23. [...] Antiwar.com – 3 Sept ‘08 [...]

  24. Sorry, I thought I’d posted the picture of the Israeli flag in Palin’s office. Here it is:

    http://whatreallyhappened.com/IMAGES/palinflagofisrael.jpg

I don’t have to guess which flag, U.S. or Israeli, that Palin’s pledged allegiance to in order for this complete, but photogenic, novice, get to where she is…

  25. When McCain/Palin say “Country First,” exactly which country are they talking about?

  26. Speaking niceties before the king-makers is a matter of course. Her ticket will never make it to November should she question the obvious merits of Jewtopia, and crypto-British Marxist rule. I should be interested to see how far her Zionist sentiments go, and most of all if she is on board with yet more WAR. So far, she has not distinguished herself as independent of the London/Tel Aviv/DC criminals. I guess what I am wondering is whether Palin will sell herself out like a whore, or conduct herself as a dignified and principled leader. Since I hope that she will do the latter, I will wait for her to make it clear to all. Does she represent a notion that the RNC has changed course and is trying desperately to signal this to all America, or is she the latest chapter in political psychological warfare, an image to be bought and used. I feel even more deeply offended than ever at the real likelihood that she is a fraud, because this one trumps the “Magical Mulatto” in sophisticated mass deception, if it is so.

  27. This got started due to this story involving Cong. Robert Wexler in Ynet.

“Congressman: Choosing Palin an insult to Jews”

    http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0%2C7340%2CL-3589734%2C00.html

Wexler the weasel is mad because of Palin’s support for Pat Buchanan back in 1996. Fox news has been putting out disinformation claiming she didn’t support Pat in 2000. While true, they deliberately misstate the year.

    http://vdare.com/kennedy/080902_palin.htm

Nice photo showing the Israeli flag peaking out from behind the curtain. I wonder how long it has been there? Maybe the whole of five minutes?

  28. Good question, Patrick. I wondered that myself. We know which one it isn’t, so that leaves Israel, Mexico and maybe Georgia.

  29. Getting AIPAC-certified as having “commitment to the safety and well-being of Israel” that is nothing less than “deep, personal, and lifelong” a may not be a sufficient condition of victory, but failing that test is a sufficient condition of defeat. We all know it and can’t do a damn thing about it.

  30. How sad that a United States possible future VP has to be screened by Israel/AIPAC first. Just another Israel “firster”.

  31. REVOLUTION is the Solution!!!

“God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion…. And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms…. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” – Thomas Jefferson, in letter to William S. Smith, 1787

    When peaceful revolution is impossible,
Violent revolution is inevitable!!! – John F. Kennedy

  32. AIPAC, an arm of the Israeli government, masquerading as a domestic political action committee, uses espionage, blackmail, intimidation and coercion, in its mission of subverting the US Government to its needs in becoming a military power that can threaten all who oppose its will. They have accomplished that goal. America has become a vassal state that pays tribute to Tel-Aviv amounting to hundreds of $billions over the past twenty years. The blood of thousands of Americans has been spilt in Israel’s pursuit of power and wealth.

Gov Palin’s shameless parading in front of AIPAC officials to obtain their approval of her candidacy shows that nothing will change anytime soon. L’chiam!

  33. Does anyone actually believe Palin interviewed with
    AIPAC after the fact?
    C’mon! Pull the other one!
Obviously this public show was for voter consumption only.
    Surprise! Palin’s a Zionist!

  34. Just a friendly reminder…

“Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in politics by accident.” -FDR

  35. And there won’t be a peep from the MSM. We should start a Paleo polling company and see what percentage of the US population support AIPAC’s screening of our leaders. i bet you it would be incredibly low.

  36. America – a democracy in name only.

  37. Anybody that meet with AIPAC DOES NOT get my vote, even if I have to write in someone at the polls.

  38. [...] Antiwar.com reports that Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin met with leaders of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) yesterday afternoon to address some concerns the Isreali lobby had about her candidacy. [...]

  39. I wonder if, somewhere in the distant future, an American politician will ever express “deep, personal, and lifelong commitment to the safety and well-being of” AMERICA!?

  40. “And shall force all to worship the first beast, which had the wound of the sword and did live”

  41. I hope. I hope I hope.

  42. Congress my be but “America…Is NOT Israels Bitch”

  43. I will vote for the candidate that tells AIPAC to go jump in the lake.

  44. This is the type of stuff you’d get in an Obama or McCain presidency. Don’t be afraid to vote for someone unpopular, no matter if you think they wouldn’t get in. Better to vote for someone you believe in rather than someone you know will institute policies that you know you will come to regret supporting by your vote.

  45. Alaska is closer and has more complete ties with Canada than Israel. Where is the Canadian flag?

  46. SCENARIO ONE……. AIPAC + Neocons + MEDIA + CONGRESS(99%) – (Paul/Kucinich and 97% American people not included) = UNITED STATES OF ISRAEL
(these people control our foreign policy, and our VERY lives)

SCENARIO TWO…….American blood + American treasure + 97%AMERICAN PEOPLE(Paul/Kucinich INCLUDED)- American freedoms (Habeas corpus) = UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
( these people pay the price)
    “These are universally acknowledged truths”

QUESTION……WHY ARE 97% OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TOLERATING THIS SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS ??????????

  47. [...] which it found a small Israeli flag, in the words of Politico, poking out from behind a drape. Rest of Article Here She needs to have an American flag and an American flag only in her office. __________________ [...]

  48. Palin is Lieberman’s stand-in. More palatable to voters.

  49. America is Israel’s chump and always has been. And don’t think the rest of the world doesn’t know it either.

  50. Alas, yes it is. Yes it is. Shameful and disgusting but true. American politicians pimp themselves out to Aipac and Israel like the soulless whores they truly are.

  51. Here’s a surprise:

Ultra-liberal, ultra-antiwar Mike Gravel, who despises AIPAC and knows Alaska very well, seems to think that Palin might not stick to the AIPAC/neocon script.

In fact, he seems downright hopeful about her; see his piece at Counterpunch:

“Thank God, She Has No Foreign Policy Experience!…”

  53. Just a thought. If for some reason, one of the four presedential candidates was a wolf in sheeps clothing.Of the four to be elected,Sarah is the most likely to be a decent human being. What if McCain were not to complete his office, and Sarah had to take over.
It would be nice to think there is a power behind the power, and it could reclaim

SONG FOR THE PEOPLE OF EARTH

    People of Earth
    Hear Me Now,
I’ve come from a distant Star
    To Be Here Now,
    Right Here Where You Are,
To Be With You in Love,
In Love and Truth and Light,
    To Set Things Wrong Aright,
To Lead You to Your Soul,
    The Heaven You’ve been Told
Is In and All Around You,
    It’s Miracles Astound You,
    For I Am You
    And We
    Shall Ever Always Be
    In Love Forevermore,
    As It Was Before
    When It All Began
    The Harmony of Man
    Comes Shining from the Sun,
    And Each and Every One
Shall come to Live as LOVE
    The Lion and the Dove,
    The Shephard and the Lamb,
    I Am That I Am,
    I Am That I Become.

    People of Earth
    Hear Me True
    For I Am Really You
    And Nothing that I Say
    Will Ever Go Away
    The Beauty That Is Real

The truth is, Zio-nuts, that the Chrisitian right, especially the Armeggedonites, are in charge. Palin doesn’t give a damn about Israel, except as it is part of her End-times future history.

  64. At the end of the day it’s still like putting lipstick on a pig.

  65. “How do you know that Palin isn’t doing this just to trick the Israel lobby?”

We know because, like Mother Nature, you don’t “trick” The Israeli Lobby! Raging ‘anti-Semite’ that I am, you don’t “trick” them, talk bad about them, discuss their ethnicity, their loyalties, label ANY of their deeds “nefarious”(even when they are), critcize them in any way, never, EVER vote against ANY of their agendas, or even DARE to notice they even exist! That is, of course, what America is all about these days, and you must learn that this is our “greatest strength.” And, as a standard “American” politician, Ms. Palin WILL learn this lesson, either the easy way or the hard way, whichever it takes.

  66. Back in the day, any Democrat running for president had to make two pilgrimages — one to AFL-CIO headquarters to grovel before whoever headed that union at the moment, the other to Chicago to grovel before Richard Daley. Now anyone of either party seeking to be president or VP must grovel before AIPAC. Same disgusting song, different verse.

  68. I dont understand why we (america) have to kiss Israel’s ass so bad. What is so critically important that we live in the do-or-die fashion for Israel. What is it they export or import that we cannot get anywhere else. I am yet to hear about a president that worried on the people that live here and the well being of its citizens. I dont want a president that promises to give countries BILLIONS of dollars every year when WE could use that money.

  69. With all due respect to Mike Gravel, I don’t think so.

Did you see Palin’s ass-sucking acceptance speech tonight?
There she was, spewing all the McInsane- and neocon-approved bulls**t. No, Palin’s just another hack.

  70. Thanks for bringing this point up. Entirely too much is made about any candidate’s “foreign policy experience,” when really what we need is someone with sound principles and good judgment. Of course, nowadays America demands that its president be a generalissimo who’s always neck deep in foreign affairs and adventures, and that’s exactly what we shouldn’t have.

Orv. Larson makes a good point too, pointing out that in Sarah Palin’s acceptance speech she dumps her previous good sense and adopts–at least for the convention’s purpose–the view of the presidency as world cop and missile-armed Messiah.

  71. Many fundamentalist Christians want to bring about Armageddon so Jesus will return so he can rule us with an iron rod. For that reason, they hang the Israeli flag.

  74. If you’re going to shoot someone, start with the really rich Christian religious nuts and really rich Arabs who actually run this country. First thing Sarah Palin did as mayor was try to ban books! Then her church invites guests who claim Jews get killed because they won’t convert. She probably has the Israeli flag because she’s hoping for Armageddon. Then Sarah and her hubby discuss whether to keep the Down’s Syndrome child–a discussion and choice she would deny every other woman in America. As for her ability to have a balanced budget–anyone in Alaska can do that because they get a percentage of the oil and gas company money (while the rest of the country gets nothing)…so much money that Alaska has enough left over to give cash to everyone living in the state–except for the Eskimos, who don’t count. If you don’t know any of this, you don’t deserve to blog about the state of this country, which, by the way, has been destroyed by Bush and his cronies.

  75. What a surprise! I couldn’t watch the dems or the repubs. Made me sick. Rudy, with the man breasts, and the rest of the neonuts are all shills for AIPAC. Lieberman (a disgrace to America) and Tonto (a disgrace to the people of South Carolina) should be registered as Foreign Agents. And the dems — their “true believers” are too stupid to even talk to. Soon the USA will be, truly, a third world country and ‘our’ elites will be waring with most of the world. Give the Dutch a hand for trying to warn us what these neonuts are ready to do. And never forget, if voting mattered, they’d outlaw it!

  80. I share your pessimism concerning Palin, Orville. In fact, what I feel is something closer to revulsion.

But Gravel is hard to dismiss. For one thing, he knows her and knows Alaska. For another thing, there is hardly any daylight between my views on war and foreign policy and his. I *despise* the Israel lobby and the neocons to my bones, and I certainly thought he did, too.

So I can’t imagine why he seems so sanguine about her. It would be interesting to know whether he changed his mind after hearing her speech last night.

  81. Looks like her antiwar supporters will have to hope that her groveling to Israel is insincere, just as Obama’s antiwar supporters are hoping that his pandering is insincere. But this is not symmetrical. She’s an undereducated, untraveled, proudly ignorant, creationist, crudely populist, Christian-Zionist, semi-theocratic crackpot, and he is none of those things. So Obama is still by far the better antiwar, pro-Constitution choice.

  82. Anybody seen the video at YouTube, “McCain is Palin’s Bitch”. Hilarious!

  83. How do these “rich Arabs “run this country?!

  84. Israeli influnce goes deeper than just the national level. It has penetrated the local and municipa level, justice and legal system. Some example such as closing down of Muslim charties that were helping the Palestnians, and ordeal of Dr.Sami Al-Arian .

  85. There is an important story headlined on antiwar’s front page in the context of this post:

    http://wiredispatch.com/news/?id=329340

It would appear, in a roundabout analysis that I do not have time to detail here, that the Georgian attack on Ossetia and the Russian Federation response has flushed out Sarkozy finally as the true Zionist that he is, and which he has managed to conceal for a very long time.

  86. It was a correction of his/her own comment!!
Perhaps a comprehension course 101 may be appropriate for you.

  87. There is another interesting article here, from the Eurasia Review and with a different point of view:

    http://georgiandaily.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=7246&Itemid=132

Putin surely knows what “regime” means in French, but was leaving an opening for Sarkozy, which he has not taken so far.

By warning Iran that an Israeli attack on Iran might be “illegitimate” but still “intelligent”, Sarkozy entangles himself in acrobatics that look increasingly similar to standard lines of the Israelis and the Neo-Cons.

On the one hand, he is telling the Russians that no “spheres of influence” can be allowed to exist in regard to Georgia, but that exactly that the same “sphere of influence” does exist in regard to Israel’s ultimata and threats to Iran.

  88. Another call today from Dennis Kucinich on the necessity of continuing and redoubling the effort to impeach, including to short-circuit the still contemplated Israeli or US or combined attack on Iran, which Sarkozy is now also talking about indirectly:

Dennis Kucinich and Paul Craig Roberts are clearly on the same page, and to their great credit.

  89. “After we’ve won, we’re going to reach out our hand to any willing patriot, make this government start working for you again,” he [McCain] said, <b< and he pledged to invite Democrats and independents to serve in his administration.”

Ah, McCain, like Bush, now has his own coding.

  90. Israel is the best. The Lutherans and the Masons can go jump in the lake if they can’t handle this fact. If 4,000 of the latter had to experience the IED’s, like our soldiers in Iraq, the war would be over.

  91. Obama is a black nationalist who sat under a racist anti-white pastor for 20 years who said that white people couldn’t be saved. Obama has no useful experience save being a street agitator and a cunning con man. He will issue one executive order after another installing his Marxist Dream upon the “Promised Land of America.” He believes the Great Seal of the United States is for his own personal use and he represents the “hate America” crowd. It is a given the Bush Administration and the Kosher Klub known as the “Neo-Cons” brought much destruction to what is left of the Republic but we do not need Obama and his Marxist revolution of “change.”

  92. Do not hold your breath waiting for this to happen.

  93. Almost all those countries which have a corrupt civil service, corrupt politicians and a cowardly population. See Great Britain. Germany. France. Italy, Holland, Australia et al.

  94. the zionist witch from the north west, will not get my vote.

  95. Jacques Chirac described this country which rules our country!

  96. You know why so many people seem to like Palin? Because whether you agree with her or not, people can see that she is REAL. She is sincere. She is her own person. Unlike Obama she is not the kind of person who has positions that will change depending on poll numbers and unlike Biden she is very confident but NOT an arrogant blowhard.

  97. Interesting, not even in Australia does the cowardly, sycophantic press make ANY mention of the one presidential candidate who mentions what most of the population want to hear, Dr. Ron Paul.

  98. The people of the world needs to wake up and realize the depth of lies, usury and corruption that has swept the west, east, north and south alike, its a worldwide problem, stemming from an ancient luciferian sect, currently under disguise with various names like illuminati, masonry, aipac, israel, cia, fbi…etc, etc.

The problem is evident in all societies, whether christian, atheist, muslim, buddisht, shinto white, black, brown, yellow…whatever.

Islam (the belief and living accordingly inline with THE One and Only God) has been warning humanity since the creation of humanity itself against this evil, as it has been laid out as a trial for humanity.

Try to overcome your misconceptions, try to overcome the wrong doings of some muslims, and open up your mind and heart to Islam:

  100. The United States is wholly controlled by the Israeli Lobby:From media,to film,to universities. It imposes its will on continental Europe, and seek hegenmy in the Middle East.Since the end of FDRs vicious world catastrophe, and The greatest war criminal in histories reighn (Churchill)in England, the westhas declined into a materialstic-sinance-capital-marxcist system, where culture is homoginized, and society is in decline, all while the fundementilists wave flags and cheer there fundementelst masters who play them so artfully.Yet people still can’t see, even in the anti-war movement,by there ignorant regerences to Hitler and ‘Facisim, they dance to the real enemies tune.World Zionism,an its soldiers:The Judeo-Christian’s…They have been in tribal conflict with our Greco-Roman Nordic, roots from there begiinings, and will not relent until they either exploit,or crush us all,in a nucleur ‘true holucaust”

  102. According to a story on the wirse today, Sarah Palin is the worst type of welfare mother.

In Palin’s two years in office, Alaska has asked for almost $750 million in special federal spending, the largest per-capita request in US.

As mayor of Wasilla, a small town of 8,000 people, Palin even hired a special lobbyist to go to Washington and make Federal fund requests totaling $27 million.

Let’s see, $27,000,000 divided by 8000–yep, that’s Israelesque all right.

  103. She’s a long-time fundamentalist, so, yes, the likelihood is that she’s been hot and bothered about Israel for most of her life. For her own purposes, of course: Israel has a role in the future history the Armeggedonites have dreamed up. (Read up in Hal Lindsey’s books or the Left Behind series for the details of the future.) If the real Israelis don’t go along with what the fundies think they should do, so much the worse for them.

As for Palestinians, they are like American Indians, and exist only to get out of the way, make way for Israel, and the End of Days.

  108. PALIN IS UNAMERICAN — She’s okay with Alaska Seceding from the US!

Palin tells the Alaskan Independence Party (The party that fights to become a separate, Independent Nation), whose goal is a vote on seceding from the U.S., to ‘keep up the good work.’According to the AIP’s Web site founder of the party, Joe Volger said, “I’m an Alaskan, not an American. I’ve got no use for America or her damned institutions.”

Here is her address at this Party’s 2008 Convention!

  110. There will be no war with Russia, they are the natural friend. US has no ideological or other reasons. Middle east and eventually China can be a problem.

Probably current threat to this country is from Israeli economic intelligence, as they try to move unsuccessfully from war oriented economy to a more productive one.

  111. I don’t trust Palin, she just wants war, not peace. Check out this video of her:
