Any government that adopts a policy of officially-sanctioned assassinations (especially in the case of its own citizens) in order to obtain its political, economic and military objectives has, without any doubt whatsoever, proven itself to be nothing more than a criminally evil, immoral and spiritually bankrupt tyranny. Afterall, cold-blooded murder is cold-blooded murder, whether it is "officially-sanctioned" or not.
Our government kills suspected, not convicted wrongdoers, even if the punishment does not necessarily fit the crime (if any). We are creating more hate and enemies. Is this the plan?
What has this country become? This has the potential to devolve into domestic summary executions someday soon. Tyranny is here, only most of us are too asleep, fearful, ignorant, complacent or otherwise unable to recognize it.
“or killers — may be on the loose in Europe after a Hamas operative was slain last month in Dubai.
European nations, however, seem to be in no rush to find him, her or them.
The spotlight is falling on those countries where police say the alleged assassins’ trails begin and end: Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Authorities there have either declined to say whether they are investigating, or told The Associated Press they have no reason to hunt down the 26 suspects implicated in the Jan. 19 killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.
European countries’ reluctance to investigate may have something to do with the widely held belief that the killing of al-Mabhouh was carried out by a friendly intelligence agency — Israel’s Mossad. The Jewish state has previously identified him as the point man for smuggling weapons to the Gaza Strip’s Hamas rulers.
Experts say arresting Israeli agents — or even digging up further evidence that Israel was involved — could be politically costly.”
At least we aren't dressing up like our Patriotic Torture Assassins in order to make a fashion statement… yet… like the Israeli's and their new "Assassin Look".
~4:00 : "…let me assure you that this abuse of the law will spread." — But it's likely that open acknowledgment of an assassination policy was already an expression of a spreading contagion within the US 'government,' encouraged by apparent public acceptance of torture. Most will have suspected that a trend was set in motion at least by the time torture became an open secret. Human nature is highly vulnerable to tolerance and encouragement of cruelty; there is an observable snowball-effect expressed both in 'the masses' and within the Culture of Impunity so created.
Something I rarely see discussed is The Payoff of the torture revelations, and now the assassination policy revelation. (Credit the idea to Michael Hoffman).
The 'Risk:' Evil is 'Exposed.' The Payoff: Many- and perhaps most- find themselves enchanted by it!
The assassination policy is more pernicious that those who promote can even imagine. Besides being unconstitutional, it also undemines the legitimacy of the government that promotes it. Eventually it will be used internally against political opponents. There is no doubt that any corrupt political party would love such power to keep themselves entrenched. In fact, it arguably has been done to many disfavored groups, but never as officially stated policy. This power is the very definition of tyranny. It has also caused allies of the US to question the nature of their ally, and whether they really want to remain alied to such an unprincipled political power. This is because such power is the same ones that Josef Stalin and Adolf Hitler claimed and used. I have personally seen such thoughts expressed in comments in foreign media, especially in Europe. European governments are currently far more responsive to the concerns of their respective populations that the United States government has ever been. This policy will have consequences that will eventually backfire on the United States.
Just another sighn of the end times. The Bible is coming true my friends The Lord Jesus will be comming after his bride, and soon. Our profit explained the bible in the 50's & 60's and William Marion Branham said the last vision he had was the U.S. full of bomb holes.

“The other story shows that the Presidency has become a self-driven Empire outside the law and unaccountable to its citizens. The Times reports “how far the C.I.A. has extended its extraordinary secret war beyond the mountainous tribal belt and deep into Pakistan’s sprawling cities.” Working with Pakistan’s counterpart agency, the C.I.A. has had some cover to do what it wants in carrying out “dozens of raids throughout Pakistan over the past year,” according to the Times.
“Secret War” has been a phrase applied numerous times throughout the C.I.A’s history, even though the agency was initially created by Congress right after World War II to gather intelligence, not engage in lethal operations worldwide.
Unrestrained by either Congress or the federal courts, Presidents say they can and do order their subordinates to go anywhere in the world, penetrate into any country, if they alone say it is necessary to seize and destroy for what they believe is the national security. American citizens abroad are not excluded. Above the law and beyond the law spells the kind of lawlessness that the framers of our constitution abhorred in King George and limited in our country’s separation of powers.
Because our founders would not tolerate the President being prosecutor, judge, jury and executioner, they placed the war-declaration and appropriations authorities in the Congress.
Both Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama believe they have unbridled discretion to engage in almost any overt or covert acts. That is a definition of Empire that flouts international law and more than one treaty which the United States helped shape and sign.
Equipped with remote and deadly technologies like drones flying over Pakistan and Afghanistan by operators in Nevada, many civilians have been slain, including those in wedding parties and homes. Still, it is taking 15,000 soldiers (U.S. and Afghan) with the most modern armaments to deal with three hundred Taliban fighters in Marja who with many other Afghans, for various motivations, want us out of their country. Former Marine Combat Captain Matthew Hoh described these reasons in his detailed resignation letter last fall”

Whom the military junta and satraps will NEVER allow to become elected President of the USA.
True, but that's not really such a bad thing. Being that the United Fascialist State of Amerika is on its last legs, having Ron waste his tremendous talents and vision on such a lost cause is nothing short of criminal. Better that he demonstrate his leadership abilities within whatever emerges from the wreckage (a free, decentralized, liberty-nurturing society, one hopes) than within the imperial catastrophe that is the present reality.
Yes, that is exactly the plan. Without a constant stream of new enemies to divert Boobus Americanus's attention away from impending socioeconomic collapse, the Party has no means by which to sustain its power.
We already see that targeted assassinations in Af-Pak often kill innocent civilians, so what's to stop accidental assassinations of ordinary, innocent Americans (or people from any country)?
"Hey, there's a bad guy in that building…take it down!" Are we all gonna end up becoming like the Palestinians?
Uh, the only thing that has changed is the openness about the assassination. Where was Paul on this stuff during the Bush administration. I know, I know, its easy to criticize Democrats. They actually believe in free speech so you can get away with it…

Paul is fearless, he even lays the blame for all this where it belongs…with the Neo Cons, thepowerful pro zionist political faction that used ol ' dumb lying George to do its bidding and now has Obama in its clutches. If Paul is not elected, and all this stopped by a democratic election, then violence will come to the USA. bigger than the 70's. Everybody's got a gun this time.
Wiped out the Black Panters, shot them in bed with thier wives. Bonnie and Clyde. The Israelis shot Palestinians every day, Ariel Sharon lead hand to hand, gun in the face killing of men he suspeded. And we pay for them.
