Huffpo Headline Helps Hosni

I see the Huffington Post has another one of their over-sized screaming headlines: “‘Day of Departure — Will Massive March Force Mubarak’s Hand?”

Yes, that’s right, Arianna — you airhead — Mubarak will be “forced” to kill, jail, and repress the protesters in Tahrir Square and around the country because their march was too massive.

Why does anybody take this social-climbing limousine faux-liberal seriously? She married a gay guy — Michael Huffington came out to her before they tied the knot — so she could stay in the country, and then acted surprised when she “found out” he played for the Other Team. I say put her on a plane — albeit not before disabling her gaudy purple Blackberry — and ship her back to Greece, pronto.

  1. Arianna as an "airhead" and a "social-climbing limousine faux-liberal"? Of course. But, Raimondo, why single her out? She is just one example of a broad genus of MSM celebrities which include Wolf Blitzer, Barbara Walters, Larry King, etc., etc. etc. They are all self promoters and hucksters for Israel. Shipping the whole lot out of the USA would involve a scale of logistics not seen since the Normandy invasion.

  2. Wait wait, INTERN the Huff 'n' Puff. INTERN the self-promoting, overly pampered, vapid, vacuous, hypocritical, and nauseatingly banal lot of them. Arianna Huff 'n' Puff, Wolf Blitzer, Pills Limbaugh, Bill O'Really, that dumb-ass Ed guy, Tucker Carlson (well if anyone can find the little piss ant), and even Madam Madcow Maddow. They suck. Pompous and trite warmongering cheerleaders. The entire listing of 'whom-to-be-interned' would be inordinately lengthy for certain. The "elite punditry" serve themselves and that's a given. However, they misinform the American people that skirts the old 'treason' issue. Besides the "punditry" being servile and evil little whores, the "punditry" serves the infotainment industry and America should have had enough of that by now.
That "internment" issue seemed worlds of popular for using on Muslims not so long back. Can we all say Danny Pipes and Screaming Michelle Malkin?

  3. Was is Taki or Margolis who once wrote: "stuff this shrieking banshee into a canvas sack and toss her into a river"? Still makes me laugh…

  4. Wow that blog spot started off with promise and then decended into an all out personal attack on immigrants, gays, greeks and the color purple :)

I would recommend reading some of Marshall B. Rosenberg's essays on Nonviolent Communication.

    peace.

    1. right, because Justin is anti-gay.

check your easily-offended self at the door please. kthxbye

      1. To live in a peaceful world it is important to first be able to comunicate in the language of peace.

I would also recommend to you some reading some of Marshall B. Rosenberg's essays on Nonviolent Communication.

        peace.

        1. To live in a "peaceful world," we all have to talk like mush-mouth hippies? That's one premise that needs challenging.

Anti-gay? Mentioning that Huffington came out as gay is "anti-gay"? Only in your world. Although I suppose this fits right in with your assertion that saying Arianna is from Greece is "anti-Greek." Sheesh. I admit, however, to be prejudiced against the color purple….

          1. This is turning out to be a very interesting blog spot, and I hope that it will help everyone see that the words we use can act as windows or they can be used to build walls.

I agree that I perhaps could have used different words to reflect my feelings to the initial post, but as a relative newcomer to the world of nonviolent communication (NVC) it serves as a perfect example of how the words we use can have an emotional effect on the reader.

Why did I think your initial post was anti-gay?, I think because I felt you made such a big point about huffington being gay, whereas perhaps you could have just stated she married a guy who she knew loved someone else in order to get a green card? I feel you would have achieved the same result. Does that make any sense?

And finally.. you say talk like "mush-mouth hippies"? Here I feel a bit confused to hear you say that, because I value this NVC as a means to bring more peace into the world. Was Ghandi a mush-mouth hippie? For me he showed us the power that non violent action in both words and deeds can achieve.

            peace:)

  5. Gekka,
"Nonviolent Communication" , That's sounds nice, but, I prefer the truth no matter how rough it is on the surface. Horseshit in a pretty box is still horseshit.

    1. can you explain what you mean, i don't quite understand the refeference or relevance to horseshit?

      1. Gekke,
Horseshit is intentionally deceptive talk masked as polite discourse. Want an example? Right now, a whole lot of talking heads in our media are extolling the birth of "democracy" in the "Arab street". But they are also wanting that the changeover be controlled and moderate. This is code talk for dragging out the process so that they can gain enough time to plot a way to strangle this infant "democracy" in its crib. That is the goal of our American Establishment, which is Zionist to the core.
If you are familiar with the Bible, Herod asked the Magi to report back to him the exact location of the newly born "Messiah" so that he could go and worship the new king also. Herod had every intention of destroying the infant "king", but he was too corrupt to be that open. Istead, Herod engaged in deception using "Nonviolent Communication" or as I would call it – "horseshit".

        1. Thats an interesting point, but i think in your example herod was just using deception as a tactic to achieve his goals. NVC is about communicaing what you want to say in such a way that you maximise the impact of your message by leaving out personal judgements or nuances. It's a way of communicating the message you want to deliver to the audience where the listener won't get distracted. It's very difficult to do because we are taught to use judgements as reference points from a very early age.

          thanks for replying

          Peace.

          1. Gekke,
I believe that you generally assume that the world is full of well meaning people who have yet to understand how to communicate well with others and how nonviolence can lead to win-win outcomes. Sadly, in a corrupt society like ours, the Establishment has absolutely no good will in their hearts. Like the Zionists who understand that they are cruel racists who are purposefully setting upon stealing what they want; they are immune to enlightenment or even shame. The Establishment – the Obamas, the Clintons, the neocons, etc.- are congenital liars and are always on the lookout for ways to confuse the boobs and get what they want. Covering their intent with polite notions like NVC just gives them another angle. I don't want to play polite games with these sociopaths. Crude profanity gets that message across to them that their shit isn't fooling anyone. Anyway, that is my method.

  6. Arianna 's Rich Rich web site and the vast amounts of air time she gets–ever questioned who sponsers her? She does have a very nauseating voice . Look what happened to Rosie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KXq6PPvVBM
or recently my man Kieth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esb2wcDY4c8
America has been infiltrated by country wreckers–our media is all to blame.Same animals control FCC and our democracy. They chose who will push for their agenda (media/politician hacks) and if anyone bucks their goals–off the payroll :^(

  7. I would prefer if HuffPo went under, but deportation? Sorry, that seems a bit much.

I like how you referred to her as a limousine faux-liberal. Really, this fight between Hollywood and the Right is actually a fight between two kinds of right-wingers: Red Tories (Hollywood) and Blue Tories (Every other part of the Right).

As for Brock, Media Matters sucks. FAIR is the real progressive news watchdog.

  8. I think many people see the state as someone watching over their lives and who have power over their lives and who periodically steps in to act in society and they see themselves as servants of the state so I think that’s why people like Arianna think like that.

  9. Hey, I’m totally in for Huffington et al being muzzled/deported/whatever. But really, why do people keep listening to/watching these totally outed charlatans? It has been demonstrated that repetitive exposure to this drivel renders our brains incapable of discerning between fantasy and reality. And endless repetition of lies eventually renders them the same meaning as truth, right?

And another thing…Why call these callous celebrities “animals” when their broadcast behavior is exceptionally odious? Animals– other than us–would never consider indulging in the mendaciousness and casual cruelty that they know envelops humans like the smell of fear. And even the most sophisticated cat could never be persuaded into the lip/face/breast/labial(probably) implants all these stars have to put up with to stay in the game.

    Silly Humans.

  10. I normally respect Raimondo's commentary but here he simply did not understand what the headline meant

She wasn't talking about forcing his hand to clamp down on the protesters. She was talking about forcing his hand to leave the country. Hence the words "Day of Departure"

  11. I don't remember exactly what date it was that I logged out of Huffpo for the last time ever but it was approximately the day that anybody who had been to see Baradei in Cairo was being rounded up by the police which would have been the same day that Arianna posted from Davos complaining about having to get up too early for breakfast ! Really, I kid you not, check it out for yourself.

  13. They go above and past the same old equipment rentals and run a certified PASA school for instructors in kiteboarding. In addition they offer windsurfing and paddle boarding instruction and rentals. The easiest way to get into windsurfing is with a non-public or group lesson from Island Type Watersports. One sport that's done in shallow water is Jet boat racing. Kyotei Katsu
