  1. The kind of democracy that presented by the west is domed to grow into a police state scenario played by its politicians, history has proven the fact in last 65 years. The ground of the vulture capitalism economic and political system demands for a police state to be established, it is in their interests and NSA is part of that process, on the ground, however, the American police brutality toward poor, killing homeless man, putting a 75 years old women in jail and thousands upon thousands of the same stories, the over 2/5 million prisoners and etc speaks the human social value set forth by the system.

Journalist are part of the human social system and their responsibility is to inform people about all and every aspects involves human social system, taking away that right, that social rights, has become the systematic social psychological warfare informing people that they have to accept the system or be jailed, vanished or even killed and that is a total police stats functioning, USA-EU is already a police state and all the social elements-matters functioning for that reason.

  2. Scahill, along with Glenn Greenwald, is in the process of forming a new worldwide news operation funded by Ebay founder Pierre Oymidar with additional help apparently coming from the ultra establishment Ford Foundation. This funding is somewhat ironic considering Ebay owned Paypal cut off donations to Wikileaks and had relented time and time again to pressure from pro Israeli groups to cut off funding going to pro Palestinian organizations.

Scahill recently and very expectantly canceled an appearance on establishment ultra nemesis Max Keiser's show on RT. This was done at absolutely the last minute leaving Keiser, who broadcasts in real time, in a lurch without any guest whatsoever. There was no explanation from Scahiil for this non appearance. I wonder is this cancellation was the result of a sudden appeal by his new funders to be " more respectable" and avoid "untouchables" like Keiser. I wonder if Scahill is rapidly morphing into left wing l establishment darling (and George Soros funded controlled opposition) Amy Goodman.

If this seems farfetched, Google Greenwald's positions before the appearance of Snowden. He is not entirely what he seems. Consider this little gem for instance. It could have been written by a member of the previous Bush administration.

Don't expect Stephen Walt or John Mearsheimer to get any air time on this new network, just like they didn't get any at Amy Goodman's show Democracy Now.

  3. What is most odd is that the right-wingers on the attack against the small libertarian-leaning wing of the party that opposes rabid interventionism seem thoroughly unaware that what they call “naive” foreign policy is actually backed up by history and much of academia.
