Bolivia Coup: Is Washington Pulling the Strings?

Does it seem like we’ve seen this movie before? Populist Latin American leader on the outs with Washington finds himself facing a coup? This time it’s Bolivia’s Evo Morales, who resigned the presidency on Sunday and was granted asylum by Mexico. Is Washington involved? And why bother with relatively unimportant Bolivia? 1. Is there any coup, election, “revolution,” etc. that happens anywhere on Earth that is not heavily influenced/controlled by the US government/CIA/NSA/Deep State? Has there been one during the past 50 years at least that did not have US fingerprints all over it? 75? 100? And that INCLUDES every US election as well.

    1. Paranoid. Been reading too much Infowars lately? To answer your question, David – yes, there are elections in the world that happen without being controlled by the CIA. Yes, there are coups that happen without being controlled by the CIA. Yes, they are revolutions that happen without being controlled by the CIA. Maybe you should look for proof before you assume something.

But your house is controlled. We see you right now. We got you. I see you stroking that scruffy beard, if you can call it that, and adjusting your glasses. I know what’s in your browser history. The CIA sees all, David.

    1. Libertarians love their South American coups, it’s to you folk what NASCAR is to trailer trash.

  2. You left a little bit out there.

Like the part where he proposed drafting a new constitution (that proposal passed with more than 90% of the vote), drafted and proposed the constitution (which was adopted with more than 60% of the vote), then when he asked the voters to change that constitution to let him run for a third post-constitution term and they said no (more than 50% of the vote) he got a court to say “screw the constitution and screw the people, you can do anything you want to do.”

Who needs a shred of evidence when you can make claims without facts, but put a question mark behind them so you can say “Hey, I was just asking”?

He wanted to scrap the constitution so he could keep ruling and the voters voted no. Then he got the kritarchy to approve it and overrule the people. Then he pushed propaganda through the schools and government media and allied labor unions, as usual. “Democracy” like controlled Sweden. But people in Bolivia are poorer and living in a region where people are more used to taking matters in their own hands, so they removed him. This was a domestic action, it wasn’t the CIA. They aren’t everywhere.
