  1. I never thought Jimmy Carter was a good president but I used to think he was a good man. After finding out he urged the Russians to invade Afghanistan, I now know he is a bad man as well. The Invasion of Afghanistan caused the people there to suffer just as the current war there is causing the people there to suffer. Now, the US is causing an even bigger quagmire there, on September 11, 2021, they will have been in Afghanistan 20 years, 2x as long as the Russians.
