The Trump plan to bring troops home from Europe has undergone a “miraculous” turnaround, with the war in Ukraine being used as an excuse for a massive new influx of US soldiers to Germany and points eastward. Meanwhile, billions more are being spent to send weapons to Ukraine (where they are likely blown up, only to be replaced with more shipments). War is big business for the Beltway. Also today: CIA has been training Ukrainian army for eight years in eastern Ukraine. Training to fight Russians.

Yes, a lot of Trump’s plans fell by the wayside. He did manage to create the space force and those Abraham Accords are a gift that keeps on giving. Plus, the Golan Heights gifted to pal Bibi, dropping out of the JCPOA, the maximum pressure campaign, the Caesar’s sanctions on Syria, sanctions on Venezuela and of course his lifting of the rules of engagement making killing just a bit easier. I long for his return.
