Diplomacy… Or Madness? US Considers Sending Biden or VP Harris to Ukraine

According to Politico, the Biden Administration is considering sending a cabinet-level official – and possibly even Biden or Harris – to Ukraine as a show of solidarity with Kiev. As such a move would include a sizable US military guard, there is incredible risk with near-zero gain in such a symbolic move. Also today: Enjoying that inflation? Biden’s sending ANOTHER near-billion dollars to Ukraine! Finally, US increasing targeting intel sharing with Ukraine – including in Crimea! Escalation on top of escalation.

  1. Love the title:
US Considers Sending Biden or VP Harris to Ukraine

US? So Biden is not in charge?

    1. Always absurd to see the clique in Washington and the top media being presented as “the U.S.”. But in this case I guess it’s to keep the headline short.

    1. “Corporate” is the term Glenn Greenwald, and more leftist leftists, use about the media cabal, avoiding to show the real common denominator. As if being privately owned, “!Corporate!!!”, would be why they are extreme leftists in everything except covering for Israel and targeting Israel’s enemies.

Do businesses in for example Turkey behave the same way? No? Even though they are “corporate”? That’s because being privately owned isn’t the crucial factor. That factor is absent in Turkey. And in China and other conservative countries. (“Noo, China isn’t conservative, because they still call it the communist party!”)

      1. They are far from the only educated people who use the same terms by a long shot! Mussolini used the same words.

Jan 19, 2021 Fascism: When Big Government & Big Business Work Hand-in-Hand

Benito Mussolini said that “Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.” When surveying modern events, along with events over the last century, is this not the major problem that we face today?

          1. This is what most people do not know. However, I have reading and listening to well educated people like Dr.Ron Paul and many more for over thirty years. You will never get this without the effort.

          2. I miss Aaron Russo (the maker of that film). He offered me a job as his research assistant on it (I was communications director for his 2004 presidential campaign), but I had other jobs I didn’t want to quit at the time. I wish I’d taken it just for the opportunity to spend more time with him before he died.

          3. I do as well since I read and listen to all sides and angles on every topic Knapp. Have a great day!

      1. I would upvote, but I’m not in the mood for a secret service or FBI visit. *but sits at computer, maybe shaking head up and down*

  2. Suppose, just suppose the aircraft carrying one or both were to be shot down. Not by Russia. What would stop the first launch? What would stop retaliatory launch? What I am saying is this: I do not trust the Military Industrial Complex.
