GOP Civil War? With DeSantis and Trump, Realists Take Both Top Slots

From today’s Ron Paul Liberty Report:

Florida Governor and presumptive Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis shocked the GOP establishment with a statement rebuking further involvement in the Ukraine/Russia conflict. Suddenly a neocon paper like the Washington Post are panicking about a new “isolationist” GOP. Also today, what about that US drone brought down near Russia?

  1. Isolation is a good thing.
I don’t want to fight over oil in the Middle East so that removes my concern over that region. So what if Quaddafi wanted to national his oil and stop shipping it to England and France? Did that mean Obama and Hillary needed to kill him to prevent that?
    The EU? Please!
If they aren’t concerned enough to finance their own armies to protect them from the USSR (I’m pretty sure we don’t need to worry about Brezhnev anymore) we don’t need to be there ourselves.
The China Sea and Tiawan because of computer chips?
Sure…..that’s a great reason to go to war…..lol
Even those upcoming Philippino joint exercises are silly; just more flexing of muscle to keep shipping lanes open because if we just buy enough cheap crap from China they’ll like and respect us….
Yup, isolation sounds just great to me because I’m tired of protecting “our” economic interests which only really benifits a few.

  2. Right. Realists. Realists that want to focus on China. We need real realists that want peace with everyone and not those who want WW3 started with China instead of Russia. But I guess they are better than those who want to do both.

    1. Yeah, I wouldn’t describe either of them as “realists.” Trump is a vile pig who only cares about his money and his ego, and DeSantis is just an establishment Republican jerk. You can’t believe anything Trump says, and not just because he’s a politician. He doesn’t really care about anything, so he’ll advocate for peace then put evil war mongers like Bolton and Pompeo in his administration and let them sabotage any peace he meekly attempts to make. DeSantis being establishment is part of the military/intelligence/industrial complex, enough said about that.
