    1. Mark Milley is thanking the bankers for their disservice. They finance wars with their blood money on their hands.
There have been protests outside of Citibank for funding fossil fuels, I don't know if there have been protests against them funding the MIC.

      1. Know this about how you refer to Petro products as fossil fuels.

What happens when you remove oil, coal, and natural gas from our energy production? Could it be a man made catastrophe when you force us onto unreliable solar and wind? We're about to find out now that the Biden administration instituted new rules to basically remove coal powered plants and natural gas production in The United States.

        1. Those rules and more will be removed by "drill, baby, drill" Trump.
Corporations, fossil fuel and all other and sundry will have a picnic.
Mr. Trump wants to slash FEMA, EPA, OSHA, prevent states like California from having their own standards.
He is big on getting big government out of a state's business, unless he does not like what states wish to do with their sovereignty.
He and this new fellow, Moreno, what to kill ideas like "alcohol detection" instruments in cars, which prevents a care from starting if the driver registers over the legal limit.
It is personal for my wife and I. Her brother was killed by a drunk driver. His wife was seriously injured.

          1. Actually, Trump is big on returning choices back to states by way of the tenth amendment and out of D.C. the district of corruption. He did this with abortion which I know nobody who thinks about this first and foremost. Try living without oil!

What if the products we rely on just disappeared? From the clothes you wear, to the products in your hair, our modern lifestyle would look very different without oil and natural gas.

          2. Our "modern lifestyle" is concrete villages, logisitics buildings going up everywhere, roads and highways clogged with cars (no mass transit), no viable farming with most of what we eat being imported by refrigerated trucks and train cars.
I am a lifelong resident of Southern California. I have witnessed the change.

          3. I understand what you are saying being born in Silicon Valley in San Jose. Hard to have roads with so many mountains. In Texas we are flat and have wide open areas everywhere. Mostly flat as well.

          4. “no viable farming”

I haven’t spent time in the San Joaquin Valley since the 1990s. Has farming disappeared there? It certainly hasn’t disappeared in the midwest or the south. Sure, US farming is down from about 950 million acres to about 880 million acres over the last quarter century, but yield per acre continues to grow, too.
