President Trump announced yesterday that plans have been adopted to construct a “Golden Dome” to protect the United States from missile attack. It is sold as a completion of President Reagan’s ill-fated (but very profitable) “Star Wars” program. Already a down payment “supplemental” appropriation of $150 billion is being prepared. Also today: Is Israel preparing a strike on Iran without US participation?
