Footage released by the Israeli police on Thursday shows a Jewish extremist assaulting a French nun in Jerusalem. According to The Times of Israel, the suspect, 36, was arrested after the attack, which took place on Tuesday.
Kegham Balian, an Armenian Christian who lives in the Armenian Quarter of the Old City, said on X that the assault took place in front of the cenacle on Mount Zion, where Christians believe Jesus Christ held the last supper. Photos of the nun show that she sustained a head wound.
