The war with Iran has been one of the most difficult conflicts to follow in my role as the News Editor of Antiwar.com, a position I’ve held since 2020. Each day brings a new threat, or a new announcement of a deal, only for it all to unravel again. It certainly feels like the confusion and distraction are by design.
Despite that, we continue the work of tracking this war, as well as other conflicts you won’t read about anywhere else, such as the U.S. drone war in Somalia.
Our goal is to cut through the noise; to provide clear, accurate reporting on the wars and interventions that too often receive little or no attention from the mainstream press.
