Underwear 2: The ‘Next-Generation’ of Exploding Britches

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s failed underwear bombing on Christmas of 2009 has fueled the imagination of many a TSA agent. Not that the TSA really did anything to foil him, mind, the underbomber’s explosive parcel managed to start a small fire that burned his genitals pretty bad, but that was about it.

Still, the “next-generation” of exploding britches looms large, officials are pretty sure. Dubbed “our greatest threat,” a “clear and present danger,” and probably some other stuff that sounds like Tom Clancy novels, Underwear 2 was spotted by a double agent.

The menace of Underwear 2 continues to grow in the mind of TSA chief John Pistole, and justify ever more aggressive TSA policies.

  1. Tom Clancy was a professional writer, one who always came up with realistic plots for his novels – God bless him. The underwear plot could only come from screwballs, desperate for a plot but with no imagination or intelligence. The authors of the underwear plot obviously couldn´t have wanted to hurt anybody, just scare a few million.

  2. The US government grooms, recruits and then imports terror jihadis to do their dirty deeds.

A recent example was found January 22nd Congressional testimony by Patrick Kennedy of the State Department about how the "Christmas Underwear Bomber" (Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab) got into the country:

"We came across information; we said this is a dangerous person. We were ready to revoke the visa. We then went to the [intelligence/ law enforcement] community and said, should we revoke this visa? And one of the members — and we’d be glad to give you that out of — in private — said, please do not revoke this visa. We have eyes on this person. We are following this person who has the visa for the purpose of trying roll up an entire network, not just stop one person. "

In case after case this is the back story of domestic terror "spectacles". The WTC bombings, Boston and the "Underwear Bombings" are in no way "intelligence failures" etc. That's disinformation. The system worked fine at detecting and keeping out terrorists.

If the CIA or FBI "override" the system to admit jihadists they are supporting overseas… that's not an intelligence failure. That's criminality, mass murder and treason.

Some of the more egregious facts surrounding 911 are summarized in the Richard Clarke interview along with a report on the 1993 WTC attack.

  3. C'mon. The AP and Guardian investigated after Kurt Haskell a fellow passenger on the same flight, and incidentally a lawyer who practiced in the Federal District Court in Detroit, the same Court where AbdulMutallab was prosecuted, observed him being escorted through security by persons who appeared to be FBI or CIA officials TWICE even though he did not even have a passport. After the bomb fizzled the FBI did a cursory examination and then when Haskell reported what he saw they blew him off. Haskell was prepared to testify for the defense though he did not know at the time that it was a phony operation, and when AbdulMutallab pleaded guilty he filed a statement with the Court at sentencing.

The AP and Guardian investigation revealed that the underwear bomber was an informer working with the CIA and Saudi intelligence. See: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/may/09/under

Of course John Brennan lied about it multiple times before investigative report appeared, but what else would you expect? He did the same thing later with Osama bin Laden. Maybe the next unabomber will have crackerjacks hidden in his fanny with FBI-CIA-NSA embossed all over his underpants.

  10. I have heard about this underwear bomber and also heard about that this type of terrorism runs somewhere but it would really be harmful for our society and our future because they are targeting us and if we failed to recognize them so the badly situation unfolds on us.
