US Embassy Hit In Iraq – Does This Mean War?

As anti-US protests raged across Baghdad, rockets were fired into the green zone with at least one hitting the US embassy complex. The neocons will surely blame Iran (again) and argue for a military escalation. Will this mean the hot war is back on the menu? Watch today’s Ron Paul Liberty Report:

  1. I really don’t think the Americans have the stomach for a major war at this current time because they have more to lose than Iran. The world economy is on the brink of collapse. Iran is in a bottom-of-the-barrel situation from which they can only go up, while the US with all their connections in Bahrain, Suadi Arabia, UAE and other places stand to lose more.

With respect to the rockets hitting the embassy, the Americans and the world are not that stupid to recognize that Iran is not behind these rocket attacks. Why would a country that can launch ballistic missiles trouble itself with rockets that are more of an annoyance than causing any real damage? When Iran strikes it will be decisive, not some puny rockets that just kick up some dust.
