    1. Yep. To the extent that the editing may have violated provisions of his contract, he would have a valid complaint. So far, based on what I’ve read both from him and from The Intercept’s side of things, I tend to think he’s more in the right. But a mugging is not a rape and jaywalking isn’t trafficking in heroin. I read his complaint is a little — not a lot, but a little — over the hyperbole top.

      1. An oddity in the information age…I imagine many more people read his unedited piece because of the “controversy”, than if it had been published “as is” at the intercept.
