The peace movement has been talking about the bipartisan consensus on foreign policy for years. The establishment of both the Democratic and Republican parties has overseen expanding US militarism and ballooning Pentagon budgets for decades. But antiwar sentiment and a desire for peace also crosses party lines. More and more Americans are becoming frustrated with the same policies in Washington DC. This Friday, we’ll be talking to Scott Horton from Antiwar.com, a site, “devoted to the cause of non-interventionism… by libertarians, pacifists, leftists, “greens,” and independents alike, as well as many on the Right who agree with our opposition to imperialism.” We’ll discuss how antiwar activists from all political persuasions can stand together to make change.
